I really like this game because great variety to customize your character. I have 30 marvel and dc characters (heroes and villains) on my ps 4 account and they all look excellent. My favorite is Jean Grey as phoenix because her clothes are literally burning and shining like Phoenix fire from the last mutant movie.

Honestly, most of you can try the game out for yourselves to see if you like it. But by the time you reach like episode 20 and up, you're gonna see why a lot of the veterans are saying the things they say about the game. I've played the game in 2013 up to 2017. And honestly I don't see it being any different on the switch at all regardless of what console/platform these hardheaded devs try to expand the game to. The game was great 6 or so years ago. The watchtower would be full. Hall of doom would be full. Little bohemia nightclub would be packed outside. Raiding heroes/villain bases was probably the best thing in that game alongside the PvP back then. But all that is now gone. A literal myth. As for PvE, might as well get them credit cards ready to swipe. Want max gear? Prepare to spend hundreds (even thousands....believe it or not players have done it sadly) to get max gear by constantly buying replay badges, and styles that you want from lootboxes lol(time capsules). Anybody that remembers when marks of triumph were a thing would know how easy it was to get gear and not stress about being behind. But overall y'all can try the game if you all want, a lot of you guys might feel differently about the game regardless of it's major flaws lol but listen to common sense. Don't play this game if you can't afford to keep up with endgame content and gearing up. It's gonna suck your wallet dry before you even know it.

When you get to Tier 3 content you won't be able to level up any further, due to needing episodes(dlcs). In order to get dlcs you need to get membership or pay for the dlc by itself.

I've now played dcuo on four different consoles. I loved this game and still play it. I have a decade of experience with it. I'm not too heavy of a mmo player but I really like DCUO, WoW, Fallout 76 (to an extent, only got into it due to all the updates recently and patches), and ESO. So though I'm late to this video I definitely think I'm going to once again revisit dcuo on a new console. I mean. What's the harm? It's free up until the sub fee is needed for the dlc. And even then 15 dollars ain't gonna kill me.

Game itself still needs to get some changes done. Im glad they added the switch but the community is pretty empty compared to years ago. It use to take 10 to 20mins to phase in because that many people were playing whereas now there's no wait. PvP doesnt even exist anymore and certain raids takes hours to get people in the queue.

@ everyone who says this game is bad: it’s not. i’ve been playing it since i was 13 on my ps3. i’m 19 now, and i still play it with the same character i’ve had for 5 years (i kept deleting characters bc i couldnt make up my mind on a good name.) anyways, it is very much pay to win but i find that if you read up on your power sets/skills and learn how to do the combos naturally, you easily progress through the game. i am not a paying member, i rarely buy the extra clothes they have (i only bought the ww cap and the ‘50s harley quinn gear), and i have a blast with the game. it’s a slow process, but it’s fun. i love the co-ops and raids, especially as i level up my cr. it’s a hard process but if you properly invest the in-game cash in buying the right gear for your character, it’s quicker than you’d think. i won’t lie, i did mess up when i first got the game bc i wanted to buy everything, and that can be a waste bc some gear won’t level you up if the stats are lower than what you have now. it’s all about the grind. but there’s also seasonal events that are expanding on holidays, most famously the aquaman summer event and the orange lantern christmas event. and with that come new gear that may or may not level you up depending on your level but are great to own considering how they’re seasonal. but, if you have doubts, PLAY THE GAME!

I really like it when older games come to Switch, it's becoming my console for nintendo exclusives (obviously) and older games I haven't played in a while or missed out on I've put hundreds of hours into Skyrim on it, I had never played it before, and even though I have a ps4 I held out and got the Switch version of Resident Evil 4 because I can play it handheld, and also I can use my Gamecube controller lol Even when I don't think I'll buy it I'm always happy to hear about older stuff coming to Switch, it's just a good fit. I don't have time to play anymore but if I did I'd probably still would. Few MMOs last 10 years. If it was as terrible as people claim it would have gone the way of the marvel MMO which only lasted 3 years. Guys this game is dead. Want proof? Check my playlist. Search up "DCUO EXPOSED" And you'll find THOUSANDS UPON THOUSANDS of hate videos, Is this the ideal MMO for you? A game where the community is just absolute shit and everyone is in the wrong? On one hand you have white knights defending the games problems (Stopping it from getting fixed) On the other hand you have toxic players that feel entitled to get change such as fixing PVP. Do they deserve a PVP fix? I don't think so, they use PVP to torment each other and make even more expose videos spreading hate around the community! DCUO has the qualified players to make a bad game therefore It will never rise to fame like other great titles such as WoW or FFXIV. The devs should continue to scam the community with time capsules, lootboxes, replay badges so that the game can continue dying off and get shutdown one day and then hopefully these lost players could open their eyes and change their philosophy of how you should truly enjoy videogames.

"We're super evil corrupt people " - You hit the nail on the head. You haven't played the game enough to develop a proper opinion on it, hell, you've only reached LV12. LV1-30 are essentially a free trial meant to demonstrate what the game is like, once you hit the level cap, you run into a wall where it's impossible to progress anymore unless you shell out exuberant amounts of real money, and even then nothing essentially changes since what you saw beforehand is what you get with a subscription, minus annoyances like cash escrow, etc. I get you must be paid a decent amount of money to do these videos, but please don't try to delude people who may not be familiar with the game when you're so very obviously unfamiliar with even the most basic of things about this game, many of us have fallen into that same trap before and by the time we realized what's what, we had already invested too much money to just pack our stuff and leave.

Played this game on PC for free, beat the main story as a Meta, Tech and Magic character for both Heroes and Villains. Gotta say that once you hit max level (of about 30), then the game becomes extremely repetitive and boring. As a free to play account, the only thing left for me to do was to try my hand at PVP, only to find that every single round I joined, the pay to play members were so vastly stronger than me, that it couldn't even be classified as a proper fight. It was just a one sided beat down, where they killed my character in 2 to 3 hits.

I've tried to play warframe multiple times and just can't get into it. I can't figure out how to do basic stuff like accept missions and customize. the first 30 minutes are great and then I can't find any enjoyment after that

@@SlapadelicMusic It takes a bit but you'll get the hang of it, just focus on mastering the basics, like movement and understanding the UI. Take your time, there is no rush.

I Beta tested this game back in the day when it was only on PS3, I paid 60 bucks for this game played it a little bit got bored and put it down for a few months, then the big Sony hack happened and after that the game went free to play. I picked it back up during Battle for Earth and was blown away, I played for 5 straight years after that, but got fed up with all the power balancing and nerfing to powers, this game is definitely pay to win, you want a bigger bank vault and inventory you got to pay, you want to change your powers, you got to pay, your first armory is free but you will need multiple armories for different load outs, you got to pay for extra armories. I am not sure if PVP is live on switch but I would not recommend playing it to anyone, the players in PvP are very toxic and will hunt down all low level characters just to beat you up over and over until you retreat back to one of the night clubs. This game does experience a lot of down time because of the Developers constantly breaking the game and because of DDOS attacks. It was fun at one point but all this game wants is your money and I would not recommend it to anyone.

I need to give this game another chance, I played it when it first came out and horrified. This looks way better, just bought a switch for the first time a couple days ago. Definitely will be downloading this tonight

@@jakubmazurek5984 Do not listen to that stupid, warframe is a purely F2P game, the Platinum is only to not wait for frames, or to buy Prime parts, it is only an Pay To Skip, wich means that paying will not give you an advantage, all frames are good, some weapons outrange another, but you can get them with help sometimes and some materials cannot even be brought, even the Mastery 25 have to farm and if they want they can skip the time of building, but at the end of the day, what we know? As a retired vet DCUO player (CabbageKing/villain/USPS) this review is pretty poor imo. To talk about such an old game like this you atleast need to have way more knowledge on the game as a whole. The early days of dcuo were gold and ask any vet and they’ll give you a butt ton of reasons as to why the game WAS good and is now very bad.

Giving the switch it's own server was a huge mistake. The server is always totally dead. Nobody wanted to play this when they had a higher graphics version on everything else. Switch would have worked if it shared servers with pc, and gave you a way to log in on a handheld.

Played this game on PC for free, beat the main story as a Meta, Tech and Magic character for both Heroes and Villains. Gotta say that once you hit max level (of about 30), then the game becomes extremely repetitive and boring. As a free to play account, the only thing left for me to do was to try my hand at PVP, only to find that every single round I joined, the pay to play members were so vastly stronger than me, that it couldn't even be classified as a proper fight. It was just a one sided beat down, where they killed my character in 2 to 3 hits.
