It is well liked mostly because it is very easy and quick to deploy and basically fool proof. There have been many cases of people trying to deploy AT-4 and other systems have having trouble due to unfamiliarity and having to battle several safeties and a separate cocking mechanism.

Yep, with some of the AT systems it almost seems like the targeted vehicle/convoy could set up a picnic and then pack up and leave before you are able to get of a shot

Very nice, I was waiting for this specific review like a child awaits Christmas morning! One thing I noticed, and I think is worth calling out. The RGW90 HH A1, the first model in production, had only 500mm RHA penetration. The RGW90 HH A2, that is, all new launchers produced, like the launchers you guys get, should have ~600mm RHA penetration. This was achieved with optimised production methods. Still, the field manual should be correct, as even Rheinmetall's official page lists it as "500mm+", which is technically correct. Best of luck to you guys!

@@TheInfidel_SlavaUA The mentioned improvement concerns the production of the warhead. Better coupling was achieved between the liner and the explosive, with a slightly improved fuze, most likely. Even a tiny gap between the liner and the filler could reduce performance immensly.

@@TheInfidel_SlavaUA The matador AT weapon is a disposable/single shot weapon. So the launcher and the warhead are one, there is no reloading of this system. That's why the launch tube has a difference in penetration, because the warhead inside it is different. Duh. Its a single weapon system, one would only talk about the tube by itself if you were disposing of it

yah reminds me of the West German Armbrust rocket launcher from the 80s where you can also fire it from inside a car and no problems. This is teh much improved version of the Armbrust. Very good AT weapons , very good vs. APCs , still good vs. T-55s and 62s but no good vs. 72s and above.

The maximum thickness of the armor on the T-72s Turret is just 120mm. The newer MATADORS HH A2 that are being sent to Ukraine can penetrate 600mm of armor. This can even take out a T-90 if it doesn’t have ERA applied to its turret

There’s multiple versions. Illumination, smoke, HH (shown on the video), anti-structure munition (ASM) and long-range multi purpose (LRMP) which is the version you mean. LRMP can either be used in air burst mode or as direct impact, it’s meant to be used against infantry or light vehicles. A HH-T version with a tandem HEAT/HESH warhead is being developed, which would make it more useful against tanks with ERA.

2:45 and 3:44 I think you mean 50cm of RHA. 500m = 50cm. 5cm is only 2 inches. obviously 2 inches is terrible performance when you're comparing to the AT4 35cm penetration. I guess its 5dm (deci) but nobody uses that measurement.

@valgear5525 great videos please stay safe. Are you happy with your armor and plates? I have my Interceptor shell and ESAPI plates LvL 4 still. The interceptor will cover your whole torso in 3A Kevlar and XL ESAPI Will cover a 25.4x30cm part of your chest and back, as well as 2 "flank" plates that cover your vitals on the side.. (15x20cm) id love to get to you. Obviously isn't at breathable or mobile as just plate Carrier. But almost 100% coverage of your entire torso with removable ballistic collar, dick and ball, and shoulder protection attachments to boot when youre positive youre going to encounter grenades, mortars, and arty for sure is very reassuring.
