I'm the guy that made that chart for the reticle lol. Made it for my Arma 3 group years ago, we used the RHS mod. Insane to think that my video game mod guide is being used by troops for IRL training.

Hey man, very good job, apparently there I slight differences for the unusual rounds like og7, but those are useing for suppression anyway, it's nicely done, and I printed them out on display around the base haha, thank you!

I was about to say, that looked real familiar. Arma 3 is yet again showing up in the war. Only this time the information isn't just gameplay being passed off as combat footage.

Very interesting video, I'm wondering considering there are many factors, how fast can a medium trained soldier acquire target and shoot while in combat operation ? To me (civilian) it seems that event with practice I would take at least 5 mins to get all the corrections right . Anyway stay safe, I hope the war ends soon

Its easy thank you for information...I would be interested in the success of the hit if a mobilized soldier shoots... I'm a trained sniper, it's easy for me, but what about a 35-year-old guy who went through abbreviated training, has to pick up an RPG from the ground and aim it at a tank defending enemy positions? from the trench it's easy, you just have to wait long enough and eventually you'll hit ;) but what about the attack?

Can you actually hit anything above 200m with an RPG? I though the projectile deactivates itself around 250-300 metres
@zh3723 Жыл бұрын
I don't think thats true. Or maybe just with the old warheads. There are many videos from bith sides of the war of soldiers firing an RPG7 45 degrees in the air to get the maximum range. I don't think they would do this if it deactivates itself.
@PandaMan-xy1he Жыл бұрын
Absolutely not(for detonation). Timed detonation occurs just after 950m, as I recall, and there’s a very good reason the optic is graduated as far as it is.
@wiiconsole2 Жыл бұрын
Pretty sure only the OG-7V has a self detonation mechanism
@PandaMan-xy1he Жыл бұрын
@@wiiconsole2 All (non-tandem or thermobaric) RPG-7 warheads will self detonate at around the same maximum range.

@@OdinBlessI keep seeing clueless people always cite the 14,000 statistic without even knowing what it means. 14k is the total number of killed in the Donbas war, this includes Ukrainian soldiers, Russian separatists, and civilians killed from both sides. 3400 civilians killed from both sides over 8 years, with most deaths occurring in 2014-2015.
