Rhapsody (from 2006 Rhapsody of Fire) has been around since 1997 and is renowned for using original classical instruments, in this case baroque ones. Luca Turilli and Alex Staropoli wrote the baroque parts themselves, so it's not copied from Vivaldi or Bach. Most of their music is powermetal, most known is "Emerald Sword". As far as I knew, Manuel (Alex's brother) was really playing in a baroque chamber music ensemble at the time, so quite easy to him helping his bro playing baroque instruments for real for the band.

"Emerald Sword" is an iconic song by these guys, and if you want to go on an adventure, give "Heroes of the Waterfalls Kingdom" a listen. They also collaborated with Sir Christopher Lee for a full album too, which is magic to say the least.

Yeah, literally 1000% dude. It's a pretty well known fact that Symphonic, Progressive and Technical death metal all come closest to actual classical music and share the same amount of talent, creativity and genius. Vivaldi is literally the OG shredder.

Oh, it's amazing band! It's sad that Fabio Lione is no longer in band, his vocal is epic. If I can, I want to recommend another epic/power metal band, but this time from Japan. ;) They released new amazing song yesterday! Band name is 摩天楼オペラ (Matentou Opera) and song is "真っ白な闇がすべてを塗り替えても" (Masshiro na Yami ga Subete wo Nurikaetemo). It's possible for you to react to japanese music?

Looks like power metal agrees with you. There's a lot to explore out there. Helloween, Gamma Ray, Blind Guardian, Avantasia to name a few. This is one I don't listen to, although I don't dislike them from what I've heard, they just seem more symphonic and less heavy than what I normally prefer.
