Kybele is a far older anatolean Goddess who came to the greeks as the foriegn Mountain Mother of the undying Gods, mankind and all life. She is syncretised by the Greeks with Rhea as the Titan mother of the Olympians...the mother of their Gods. Cybele is the latinized spelling of Kybele. The Romans typically called her Magna Mater (the great mother) one of her Roman titles

You mentioned Amalthea in this video! Fun side fact, it's also a recurring mythological story element to have female animal wet nurse, or at the very least the animal in question to be a animal stand-in for a human wet nurse. Maybe as a follow-up to all these Mother-Goddesses videos you could explore these symbolic beings. Also, there seems to be a running theme of therianthropy among the gods in order to go into hiding after some debacle, or in Zeus's case to have sex with random women and men.

There is a winner when it comes to world's worst pain. The worst pain in the world hands down is getting burned. Not only have I experienced this personally first hand. I have witnessed it multiple times with others when I was a Firefighter/Paramedic. I also know the recovery from burns are very painful. Especially if you have a large portion of your body burned, & you half to be dipped into the giant vats of cleaning solution @ the hospital. Burn's encompass such a large area of medical expertise, & issues because of all of the secondary problems that occur, & that are created from Chemical, Biological, & or Natural Fire's.

I honestly don't believe that Zeus could over power his mother. Nevertheless the writer deem that man's can take completely control over any woman's. Since at those time women's didn't have any rights to vote or to speak out, unless those womans would have to be an queen and an woman in Power . Although 9 outta 10 The Greeks have many different historian versions of the stories.

The swallowing of the gods by Kronos was probably how they described the canabalism of cults at the time. The larger cult absorbs the powers and followers of a smaller cult. So the infant cult of Zeus was moved the Crete to avoid being snuffed out.

No more equality from there. The Cybele mysteries Eleucid as well trace thru Rhea

I think the lingering shades of an ancient religion more Goddess based religions show themselves in these myths. It makes sense that primitive human would follow the logic that since all humans and animals emerge from a Mother, all must trace itself to some divine being giving birth to it. We know the ancient "Venus" figures were more than prehistoric porn, as it seems most of these show signs of having red ochre applied over & over. (The menses of earth mother) had their heads knocked off, or made without heads and faces, not to mention they're typically shown as very large, fleshy humanoids. If you want to show abundance, how would you do that?

This is Eye Opening for me the story of Rhea, now, I'm considering something more horrifying. I'm still learning about Enoch's writing's, I know the Titan's which too me I interpret to be The Nephilims indeed they were of immense height 3,000 feet to be exact. I'm beginning to wonder if those Watcher's got jealous of each other and they possibly could have ate their child or their rival's child what is told by Our Ancient Ancestors who hails from Greece. Only reason why I've come to this conclusion Enoch gives a blow by blow account of the crimes The Watcher's committed and on occasion ending in the Word Abominations. When Abominations is used by Enoch He seems to leave off those Abominations, as though the very thought, of what they did in these case's such as and example, infanticide or Cannibalism shouldn't be recorded. As of right now we have Cannibal Nephilims/Titan's indulging in this record from The Ancient World.

Well in ancient times people were imagining gods and were pray to demons. As they weren't aware that the seed originates from the male they were assuming female creates life-some lacking education and critical thinking still do -that to reply beyond being unaware of the Word of God with wordly common sense even. I have noticed that there is a revival in ancient false beliefs and everything that a human tries to hold on to be able to carry on -expect the true, alive,God sadly. I know how it is like I used to be this way.

Um, sorry, but we rather read a whole library about world mythologies and legends than to read the bible, Rhonda. We come here for mythology lessons, not bible study.
