@Sequoiah Dreams as a frequent solo movie goer, I always love watching movies alone. It is a little difficult for the first time thinking people around will judge you for coming alone, but think of it like this way the person besides you probably would never even meet you ever again so what they think shouldn't even matter and more often than not people don't really care that much they're just there to watch movies. A good idea would be to get a ticket where its kind of empty or maybe a corner one. Definitely recommend going to movie alone once this corona virus is gone. Hope everyone stays safe

One of the most interesting things I saw when i went to japan is the little kids going to school by themselves. That would never happen here in America... too unsafe.

G.M. ? I walk home from school sometimes and never ran into any kind of problem. And I’m from California, LA. It kinda annoys me how people always compare America to other countries. You got nothing better to do but bring America down? Idgaf about this stupid video now thanks to your comment.
@gmagain4 жыл бұрын
Helen H um I was specifically referring to little kids. Are you a small child???? If you parents let you walk to school by yourself they are irresponsible and child services must be called asap!!!! Although, judging by the fact that you use youtube, you are probably already in your mid teens and at an age were you CAN walk to school alone. So my comment has literally nothing to do with you and in America we NEVER see small children walking to school by themselves no matter what you want to believe.

You've found a lovely way to pass time & not feel alone, by having this channel & make moments count. I don't know when you made this video or how your hubby's visa is coming along but good luck & I hope he can come over & live with you soon!

Oh gosh, when you put the two bills into the machine I got so stressed out! I've never seen it work like that before, especially where I'm from. If you put two bills in where I'm from the machine would possibly only read one bill and you would lose the other!! I love the fact of 'dating yourself' - I do this as well to enjoy my own company at times despite being married. Its refreshing to just have a day to yourself and enjoy your own company.

With a history of being single for almost 24 years, it has already become usual for me to go shopping alone and treat myself with some decent, real food. There are many things that I always want to do, I see people on social media going to diners late at night with their significant others, bars, parties, or even going to having breakfast in the morning. I've always wanted to do something like that.. especially going to a diner late at night.. I don't know why it sounds like such a nice thing to do but one night I just gave in and went there alone. The waitress looked at me weirdly for a bit when I said "table for one" but sitting by the window with breakfast for midnight and a some tea was the most relaxing thing I've ever done..

You have such a healthy mindset! I'm so happy you took yourself on a date. And I bet your grandmother loved the purse. I loved seeing how clean your city is! Even the trains, busses, and taxi! I live in NYC and you put us to shame. There is no reason for us to be as dirty as we are. I think a big issue is people don't care about the mess they add to the city. When I first saw your trains had cloth seats I immediately thought of the dirt and sweat from people, but you can tell the trains are pretty clean. Cleaner than the subways here even with the cloth seats! (we have plastic seats) I grew up in upstate New York though in a small town and it was very clean and filled with fresh air. But our cities need work to stay clean. I want to visit Japan one day.

I think someone made a good point, it depends on what country you're in or how independent your family/culture was growing up. I've been raised extremely independently so I feel more comfortable going places and doing things on my own... because I don't have to compromise on where i want to go or what i want to do... but that's just what I'm used to. I think there's peace in being able to be by yourself, know yourself, care for yourself. I'm working on finding peace being with others. My boyfriend and I have a really great relationship, but we are both very independent people and tend to do our own things. I need to find peace in numbers!
