i still enjoy these older videos so much. the intro brings so much nostalgia because when i first start watching Rhea's videos I was in a very dark space. these simple living vlogs brought light into my dark days & helped me gain such an appreciation for life even... if it's quiet & calm.. on a bad day it's helped me see that something as simple as making a meal can bring soo much joy ☺️ it's also helped me realize my dream of going to japan even more. thank you Rhea for all that you do & all that you have done ❤️

13 November 2019, Palermo, Sicily. May I step in with another suggestion? Do not make your bed in the morning as soon as you have got up. At night we sweat and shed skin cells. Dust mites love both of these things and really thrive in damp, humid climates. When you get out of bed and make it right away you are trapping a lot of the moisture. Instead allow your bed and duvet to air out for at least an hour. This can help reduce the moisture and reduce the number of dust mites as well.

Rainfall puts negative ions into the air which have a positive effect on the mood. Similar to how we feel refreshed by the flowing water in the shower or when by a river or waterfall. It is my favorite time to open windows, as long as the rain doesn't get in and the temperature also permits. It is how nature cleans the air and makes the home feel so fresh and clean!

Clearly you do not have cats. ;-) You "vacuum" by using a lint roller on the carpeting?! I started to cry during your cooking segments. I'm not sure if it was because of the beautiful music, or the fact that you honor yourself so much by treating each meal as an event. I admire how you find such happiness in simple things. I can learn a lot from you and I'm MUCH older than you are. I just learned that Marilyn Monroe used Vaseline on her face, so you are doing the right thing. :-)

@goobernational4805
@goobernational4805 4 жыл бұрын
Metalhead goes Vintage I think it’s admirable and shows her strength and independence which is vital for a healthy relationship. Too often couples become consumed with each other and they end up over-relying on each other to make the other happy. It’s unfair to put all that on one person and it’s not their responsibility either. Your relationship with your SO should never be the most important thing in your life. You need a balance of friends, family, alone time, fun, hobbies etc. I’m not sure I understand why she is wasting her time at all. She has a career and is living in Japan. She’s got a budding YT channel. How exciting! She’s clearly young and has the next 50 years to enjoy spending time with her husband :) There’s no need to be critical because you don’t understand or agree with her decisions. Just be kind! Be supportive.

I just saw in one of her videos that she is working on her husband's visa, so I guess he is not there yet. I think we can all benefit from trying to take better care of ourselves and destress.

So you’re not Japanese then, learning the kanji and such? How are you finding learning? What do you do for work there since you aren’t native? I’d love to live there.

It's always nice to see someone in Japan for work. studying and embracing the culture. Just by the way she uses her utensils to eat katsudon, I'm guessing she from the Philippines or elsewhere nearby. Great videos by the way.

Your home tour came up in my recommended videos, so not I'm starting from the beginning to watch all of your videos! I have always been interested in Japanese culture. It looks like KZbin knew. I adore your home and how you spent your day. Although my apartment is not as spotless as yours, that is exactly how I spent my day today. Just with less cooking. I made breakfast and am going to make dinner. Lunch was just a sandwich. This vlog was so relaxing to watch.

I enjoy your videos! Do you ever prepare extra food and heat up another day? (Leftovers). For instance, when I cook pancakes, I make several and put a few in the freezer, to use as quick breakfasts on other days. (I mostly eat at home, and I love my leftovers!)

Are you asking why she doesn't make something out of the boiled water? Well it's normal if it's already a habit. Just like drinking your usual water but a warm one.

Its normal to boil water before drinking in most Asian countries, if you straight up drink from tap, good luck to your tummy.

I love how you don't rush and take time on doing anything. I do the same, and I enjoy doing it that way. Some people said I am too slow, some even started calling me names such as turtle, the slow one, but I don't mind. I really love doing things on my own phase, taking my time always. I hope every person would respect that. Oh, hello Rhea! Hope you are doing great during this quarantine period. Sending hugs from 🇵🇭 💕
