Religion wasn't a part of my life growing up. We didn't go to church or read the bible. I knew of God but that's about it. As a teenager I started my long road of drug addiction and shame and lives there for almost 20 years! After the death of my mother and a 6 month stay in prison I found my self in a faith based women's rehab. It was there I FOUND MERCY!! Now I am clean and sober since 9/27/17. I was at a Christian retreat working there one week. 30 high school boys came on our walk called "walk to emmuas" 24 boys got saved that weekend and 6 rededicated there lives for Jesus after a dying moments ceremony where they lay there problems down at a cross. The Team, band and these 30 boys sung this song moments after all this happened, I cried as everyone else did, and probably grew a inch of hair from the goose bumps.. Nothing like the feeling when Jesus shows up.

As a teen, before accepting Jesus as my Lord and Savior, I walked away from God. I blamed Him for all of my sins, and I blamed God for all of my problems. My heart was cold and I was sad. But when I found that I needed Jesus and finally listened, I was 18 and I started coming to church with a friend, and I met Jesus. I just turned 19 when I was saved and I was baptised. I'm turning 20 soon. You can always came to God and He's always there for you. Jesus saved my life, otherwise I'd be caught in sin like I was younger. Jesus died for us and He made a way for us. I am strong in my faith now, and I'm glad I'm a Christian now. God bless!

I still remember the day Jesus found me. I was 15 years old running XC, after failing my team and coach at a big meet I went through a existential crisis the next day. I had a lot of issues growing up with my dad being nonexistent and that affected me far more than I’d ever realized. Even though I had always said I was a Christian, I never knew Jesus. After going for a run the next day, I cried desperately and called out to Jesus to save me. I had never been a huge fan of music but God gave me the words of the MercyMe song “Here With Me” and I felt his presence for the first time. Even though I am currently 18 and struggling with porn addiction, I am not the same person I was those 4 years ago and God is working on my heart everyday! Jesus is great and merciful!

You can get through it, just keep praying and trust God to deliver you from that addiction, even when you doubt the sincerity of your apologies to Him because you end up going back to it anyways. I know it can seem hard to praise Him in the middle of a storm, but He is good, He loves us more than we could ever understand or put into words and He has a plan. When God does give you the strength to stop you might be dealing with difficult things or even suffering, and the evil one may even try to trick you by saying it'll go away by going back, but remember: "A person might have to suffer even when he has done nothing wrong. But if he thinks of God and bears the pain, this pleases God. If you are punished for doing wrong, there is no reason to praise you for bearing punishment. But if you suffer for doing good, and you are patient, then that pleases God." (1 Peter 2:19-20) This whole paragraph doesn't feel very cohesive, but I hope that atleast something here will help you, and even if not I pray that God will lead you in the right direction anyways.

A true experience with Jesus you'll always remember the date. I got to save when I was 15, February 1971. I was so excited I could talk about at school the next day and for weeks and weeks was Jesus! I was saved in November 2013 but I've wavered from my faith. I picked up my Bible for the 1st time today in a long time. I read passages on Homosexuality. It was through being introduced to God by the Holy Spirit that God introduce me to myself, my real self when God's grace met me in the middle of my mess: Now God's grace has taken my mess and made it into a message of God's grace, hope, redemption and reconciliation that has been an event and is on-going as I grow in HIs grace and in HIs the truth that sets me free.
