You need drinks and doughnuts I would want my doughnut place to have good drinks as well as good donuts. I've always wanted to try dipping donuts in coffee but I cant get a genuine experience if I don't like the drinks or if I don't like the donuts If Krispy Kremes coffee is actually that bad, then that's bad because what if I want coffee and donuts, I can't have that anymore because the coffee is bad. At least Dunkin has both and the coffee may not be amazing but at least it's decent to good

Where I live at least, DD's have too little glaze on them and too much dough (the dough is not even that tasty) where KK's are balanced imo (+ the dough is great). Although if I prioritize the price then I'll settle for DD's, again not sure if it's only where I live but DD's are a lot cheaper than KK's here so there's not much to complain about.

The only donut I prefer from Dunkin's is the Boston Cream because it isn't as sugary, but my fave is lemon filled and only KK has the one filled with lemon curd, wish is was still rolled in powdered sugar, but glazed is okay. Dunkin for coffee. KK for donuts.

The current Dunkin's lemon-filled tastes like it has some kind of lemon-scented cleaner in it, but it USED TO taste more like lemon-meringue-pie lemon. And Dunkin also USED TO have a blueberry-filled, which was like the lemon in format but with blueberry pie filling stuff in the center instead. Those were both such excellent doughnuts that, if I had to choose ONE, I had a VERY hard time deciding between them ... and sometimes would go with a plain cake dunker (with the handle on it).

I knew beforehand that if coffee was included Krispy Kreme would loose, people think Link needs his scale, but no the Krispy Kreme coffee is just that bad. They really just shouldn’t have included it for an accurate rating. (Also not included doughnut holes / munchkins saddens me)

Ya I think Link's scoring was fairly accurate. For the most part his scores were close to Rhett's. The coffee skewed the whole thing! There was a 10 point difference and the only reason Krispy Kreme even got the 2 was cause of Rhett. They lost by 6 so that 10 point difference meant a lot. I don't get why they included coffee in a doughnut taste test. If they wanted coffee it should have been Dunkin VS Starbucks.
