Rhett is a master manipulator and Link is extremely impressionable. If Link used his advantage in the second to last round and won the game would have been over. That’s why Rhett said “I probably shouldn’t have explained that” he was trying to anchor his manipulation in Links mind so he would absorb his “advice” without question.
