I don't really care what I'm drinking it out of, but I'm starting to realize the process is half the fun. Prepping the maker, choosing the cup (in which I also decide what amount and even how wide it is for aroma, cooling, and/or mixing), choosing how strong I want it... wow, I always just thought it was just the smell and taste of coffee that was the experience! Though I totally agree now, the material of the mug is almost as important as how you make it! Porcelain or whatever mugs are made of is definitely the best, cardboard is only good for buying it to go.

Charles, you can still get better travel mugs. There's an infinite variety for those for style, material, etc, but my favorite came with my current coffee machine, and has literally kept coffee scalding hot for over 10 hours before! It's perfectly airtight.
