current fashion senior here!! fun fact regarding the high heels: I believe (in italy?) that chopines (very early renditions of high heels or wedges) were made for high society so they could tower over the poor, but when they started to gain popularity with the middle and lower class, they started to design the ones with affordable prices with VERY TALL heels so that people buying them (lower/middle class) would get INJURED, falling and breaking ankles for trying the trend. Pretty petty. I'm talking 10 to 20 inch heels here. Just google tall historical chopines and you'll see what I'm talking about.

i've worn a thong on only ONE occasion. My girlfriend at the time had just bought a couple pair & since she had a pair of my boxers that she usually slept in i decided i'd try on her underwear. i went into her closet, put a pair on & came out to show her. She looked at me, burst out laughing & said "Umm, you have them on backwards." About 5 seconds after she said that her mom walked in the room wondering why she was laughing so loudly. It was a bit awkward, but barely broke into the Top 5 strangest things i've had girlfriend's parents see me doing.
