Rhett & Link referring to the 'top milk', I've always referred to it as 'side milk', as in the milk that gets dried on around the sides and lid of the bottle. I always decant the milk if it smells to see if it still smells in a new container 👍

Therapist here-better help is like the “Walmart” of therapy options. It’s okay if that’s all you have access to/can afford. There’s even some damn good therapists on better help I’m sure. But there are MANY virtual therapists that can provide way better quality therapy and may also offer payment plans or reduced rates. I love the promotion of mental health the guys do, I just hope they move to a more ethical and quality promotion platform for it.

13:10 lactobacillus bacteria, needs salt to live. Its also the bacteria that causes milk to go bad. And interesting enough its also the same bacteria that pickles/ ferments vegetables. So yes salt in milk is a bad idea.

Lacto doesn’t need salt to live and reproduce. It really just need fermentable substances and some other nutrients usually sugar. Though most strains are salt tolerant and can survive up to 10% saline solution. So a pinch isn’tof doing much.

As someone who works at the company that makes the exact milk brand and containers the expiration dates are not the last day you can drink it’s just a guess at when it will be bad. It can go bad before and it can last for weeks more if the conditions are right.

The watermelon hack was not an accurate test because the hack involved two changes compared to the control (garlic & plastic wrap). A more reliable test of the effectiveness of garlic would've been to wrap both watermelons with plastic but use garlic for one melon. Otherwise I am inclined to believe that the plastic wrap actually affected the outcome more than the garlic.
