Imo, when sealed correctly, 3 day old Oreos should be almost indistinguishable from fresh. I’ve never noticed any degradation in that amount of time. Once you get to like 5-7 days then they really start to turn

Oreo cream is shelf stable. It really does get rotten. You might not like the taste of stale cream, but it's not rotten lol Pretty sure it's the same for twinkie cream. It's made to look like cream but it's just sugar, oil, corn syrup. These things would be in the fridge section or state "refrigerate after opening" if they contained real cream filling.

I've always been interested in the scientific method. Not enough to do experiments myself, of course, but definitely enough to watch experiments taking place.
