@BeefNEggs0574 ай бұрын
@@timnotbrianmay You aren’t Jesus and neither am I. Be who you are. We aren’t all supposed to be a bunch of Jesus clones lol. Certainly would be a bad fit for a guy who tends to be a hermit like myself. Walking around Preaching would make me angry/depressed and everyone else too since I’d be bad at it. I’ve thought about that a lot. Doing what you’re good at instead of trying to make yourself be something you’re not. Run if you like. Stay home instead if that’s you. Don’t let fear guide/rule you however.

Amazing video, Rhett. While I'm sure KZbin can feel discouraging at times, please know that we love and appreciate you for all that you do.. regardless of the number of views the video gets. You're a legend on KZbin.. this is irrefutable. You have brought guitar wisdom to many, many young (and older) players. This is what really matters. Keep doing what you do. Keep making videos from the heart. And we will keep watching. Be well, brother. -Freeland

I’m not super active on KZbin, I don’t subscribe often and I certainly refrain from commenting. This video was a huge eye opener as far as playing around the chords of the progression and jumping into the anticipated chord two beats early. Thank you for this, thanks for your other video on why you hate KZbin. I’m honest when I say this video sparked inspiration and I genuinely learned something new. Nicely done. I would add one thing - learn the vocal melody and start there. I know both you guys do this. Of course if it’s a backing track there is no vocal melody yet. In that case try to think like a singer as you solo putting in breaths and the like. Maybe this is for a more advanced player. Also for more advanced players jettison the “box” idea. Once you’ve really learned your scales, etc. try to “hear” what you want to play and let your fingers do the rest if that makes sense.
