Saw her on a PBS TV show, not sure which one. This tune is a great break from traditional blues. Although I can't say I like most of her stuff I love the other things I've seen her do. The show where Jack White recorded on the original electronic acetate cutter was tasty stuff and the piece she did blew me away.

Heard her music for the first time today on NPR in mid 2020. Her music is amazing as is her story. I highly admire her and what she is singing about. i agree with her 100%. i just wish the vast majority of people of color would follow her footsteps and create something meaningful and positive.
