My great grandfather was Swiss and I really hope to go there one day. You are so lucky to be so close to just drive to another country. In Australia it can take that long to drive to the next state. My family and I moved to Geneva from England for my dads job back when I was 6, we lived there for 3 years and they were the best times of my life. It’s such a beautiful place with amazing people! I have such fond memories of running under the fountain and hot days exploring the old town, and this brought all those memories back! 💕 Switzerland in general always has a special place in my heart 🇨🇭❤️

Loving the travel vlogs! So cozy and sweet. I would also really be interested in a video about your philosophy on raising Delilah. How you "discipline" (ugh hate that word) her when she is being naughty, how you deal with tough situations and how you managed to raise such an apparently empathetic and kind child. From what we see, you seem to be taking a very gentle approach and I think it could be a very interesting topic. On a side note, I also love Geneva!

Lovely vlog! I now want to go on a road trip through europe!😁😍 also, interesting that they don’t sell wine in the supermarket! In Norway you can only get alcohol under 4.7% in the supermarkets I believe. And only between certain hours, like for example the shop can be open from 7am-11pm, but you can only buy alcohol between 8am-8pm (6pm on saturdays, sundays shops are closed!) but this also varies from county to county. ❤️

Love your videos ! I am from Switzerland, migros and la coop shops are very expensive even for swiss people haha but there are other shops like Aldi and Lidl where everything is much cheaper ! :)

Loving these vlogs (as always). Interested to know how Delilah got on with the long car journeys and whether it is something you would do again? I have bad anxiety travelling on planes and so going abroad with my young toddler on a plane isn't very appealing x

She did really well and would 100% do it again. If anything I kept feeling guilty that she was in the car for so long but she was happy and Doug said I was being silly and overthinking it lol. To make us both happy, next time I’d like to be away longer so the long trips weren’t so close day to day x

My boyfriend's family lives near the Swiss border, close to Geneva. It's a city I'd really like to visit, too. On a another note, I find the Herta meat subsistutes absolutely disgusting. How did you find them?

It was ok and really enjoyed as I’d had nothing similar since we’d been away - lived on a lot of bread, hummus and whatever I could eat out that was veggie but it wasn’t as nice as Quorn which is usually what I have at home x

I do! Not as bad as my mum who would struggle to just be in the passenger seat even at the front but I have to be looking directly through the front seats at the road if I’m in the back which isn’t ideal on long journeys. I did sit in the back during shorter trips whilst we were in Spain but neither Tom or Doug minded so it just made sense that for the longer stints I sat in the front x
