I was wondering if you could tell us your favourite and most used cook books! I have been cooking a lot since Covid first hit and am losing a bit of inspiration for meal ideas. I look through the internet frequently for recipes but find it quite overwhelming and end up cooking the same meals on rotation. This vlog was so needed btw. You're a really big inspiration for me in so many ways! :)

One more comment...it's so nice to see you all again. Little miss is growing into a delightful young lady😊. And your eyes are starry as ever...really so happy to see you dear girl. Stay well and safe, hello to Doug☺. Oh and my Christmas tree goes up the day after Thanksgiving and comes down the week after New Years. Yes always makes me sad to see it come down too. Leaves you feeling empty. You all make my holidays delightful...to a lady who would be lonely without your cozy company. Love to all!

I homeschooled my son who just turned 24, right up threw 11th grade sort of. When we got to high school it was like pulling teeth to get him to do any school work. Yup hard but very rewarding. I would do it all again. And really they learn so much more. We turned walks into nature hunts. Read street signs...and store names. We rhymed and sang as we walked. He made up fantastic stories. That was through 6th grade...7th and 8th were pretty smooth until about the middle of 8th. But in all it was a full time job...grade school was best.

Thanks for the vlog it is lovely seeing you again! :) And about the christmas decorations: I prefer taking them off very soon afterwards, but I don't feel like my appartment gets boring because I already have loads of other decorations, like paintings my granddad made, plants, photos, drawings I made, instruments, and basically everything that is possibly able to hang on a wall. If I don't put the decorations on, I feel really bad, so I understand what you feel when taking the christmas ones off. Basically, don't forget that the entire year has the right to be as nice as christmas!

I’ve been using the la Roche posay effaclar range for about three years now - my ride or die!! When I first started using the products I found they have about a month of a purge phase where you get reeeally spotty and once you’ve passed that point it’s amazing. I have been on roaccutane and felt like I’ve tried all the drugs all the skin care and the effaclar range is great - especially the effaclar H Moisturizer.

I am finding homeschooling very testing (my son is 13 ...and I can honestly say that I don’t understand HALF of the work he is set day to day ! - especially algebra ! It’s very tricky to help him sometimes when he gets stuck ! Makes me feel very wholly inadequate as a parent ! Hey-ho 🙂 Just trying to muddle through it the best we can ... and he is trying his best, so that is all I can ask of him 🤗 I think as parents .... we inevitably beat ourselves up over every tiny thing and continuously set the bar too high for ourselves don’t we 🤔 I am going to make a positive effort this year to try and cut myself some slack and accept that I will not always be able to be all the things my son needs me to be... all of the time, and hopefully I will learn not to beat myself up over every little thing and over analyse the cr@p out of everything I do or don’t do ! 😅😂🤣 I got very sad taking my tree down this year and packing away all of the lights and decorations! Our house felt so empty afterwards but we always try and stick to the 12 days before/after Christmas 🎄 I think the fairy lights are the thing I miss the most... they are so relaxing with their cosy glow in the evenings 🤗 Spring is on its way, and looking forward to more sunshine ☀️ to come ☺️ So good to have you guys back Rhiannon ! ☀️🐝🌈🦔🌻🌷 “Every good wish” to you and yours 🤗👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻xxx
@RhiannonAshleeVlogs3 жыл бұрын
Agree with everything you said. We just want to do our best as parents and you feel like you’re failing them because you can’t teach which is so silly and I keep telling myself, my job as a parent is to keep Delilah safe and happy, then all I can do I try my best at homeschooling. We’ve got this lovely although I feel for you on the algebra as I never understand even in school 😭🤣 I too miss Christmas lights the most!! x

I've just come to the end of my first skin + me cream and have loved it. My skin has really improved but going to try a month without and see if the breakouts come back and if they do then I'll carry on with it. I have found that there is a lot of cream left in the tube if you keep on twisting it. I've gotten about 5 more days out of it after it passed 0.

I use the ordinary hylaronic acid rather than moisturiser as I find a lot of moisturisers make me break out too. I’ve also heard it’s good to use water based moisturisers rather than oil based if you have that problem. I would recommend glycolic acid toner, niacinamide + zinc serum and hylaronic acid serum (I’ve found the ordinary and revolution do good ones) 😊

Oooh so happy you are back:) organics basics jumper is so lovely! I use an old shirt for my hair cause it is supposed to be better-something about the texture. And I always wrap it around my head. But few days ago I came across a Brad Mondo video and he is saying it is bad for the hair to do that and you can get alopecia in the front from the tension on wet hair. Yiyks. So hopefully that can help some of you. I won't do it from now on.
