You can do it with flow along surface or flow . Make daimond Block. Use block cammand.

thank you so much for this I was curious how do you export a model from rhino to a program like 3dsmax for rendering without the diamond becoming messed up. Right now when I export a diamond to render in vray the geometry is ruined by rhino on export as an obj or stl file

@@PJChenJewelryDesign I have tried to export as an stl,fbx,and obj. I am unsure what settings to use in the polygon mesh options box to get the topology of the diamonds to export without much change so it renders properly
