It was great thank u, but while giving the thickness, thickness is in just one way, isn't a problem? is there any other way to give a thickness in all axis. thanks

Thanks for this amazing tutorial. Sometimes you're a little too fast for me :-D Maybe you can just insert some "signs" of the shortcuts you use, while using them? F.e. if you talk about holding the L-button, just have a sign of the L-button? I guess it will be easier to follow your instructions then... Amazing work and thank you so much for doing this. Greetings from Germany!
@HowtoRhino5 жыл бұрын
Hey, Thanks for your comment! I appreciate it. You're right about that signs of L and R mouse button. Quite a few people suggested that, but I still haven't managed to find the right software for this. All the solutions outhere are very very basic and don't work well. I guess I"ll keep looking. Thanks for your suggestion. Appreciated! Greetings from Serbia :D

@@HowtoRhino Which version of Rhino + Plug-Ins do you use? My Rhino-Interface looks so different (Mac)... I miss most of the buttons you use.
@HowtoRhino5 жыл бұрын
I use both Rhino 5 and Rhino 6. Rhino 5 mostly just for T-splines and Rhino 6 for everything else. I also use Vray, Bongo, Grasshopper (integral part of Rhino 6 now) and VisualArq for BIM modeling. Mac Rhino version is much different as they are created separately for two different platforms. Recently Rhino 6 for Mac came out and it is much closer to Windows version now. However, there are still some drawbacks, so I would definitely advise using Rhino6 for Windows if you have a chance.

This is fantastic. I'm wondering, when it came to adding thickness, you did like an upward push-pull which means that the thickness is not the same at the bottom of each piece. Is there another option/command which might apply the same amount of thickening to each piece?
@HowtoRhino3 жыл бұрын
Yes, good observation. You can use command OffsetSrf to offset surface in the normal direction.

I just selected the bottom part, and clicked delete. After that, you switch the "low poly" with high poly mode by clicking on TAB. This tutorial is outdated now because Tsplines tools are not used anymore. However, the same result can be done by using SubD tools.
