They are promoting their second album which critics slagged but is actually chock full of bangers. Improved vocals and harmonies with a diff bass player/vocalist. added bonus two ACDC tunes.

@@seeminglytransparent hot damn 12 million. still, criminally under-promoted in the US. got a song catalogue loaded with monster hits but as people can't take the humor the boys infuse into their shows, critics and listeners took pleasure in panning them. I suppose they preferred the band to be cutting themselves, gettin into bar brawls, taking themselves too seriously. Nope. That's not the way they do things. No matter. Their hit was "I believe in a thing called love", but this one is absolutely lovely. One of my all time favourites. This bunch were overlooked.

Oh, the first flush of youth was upon you when our eyes first met And I knew that to you and into your life I had to get Oh, I felt light-headed at the touch of this stranger's hand An assault my defences systematically failed to withstand 'Cause you came at a time When the pursuit of one true love in which to fall Was the be-all and end-all Love is only a feeling (drifting away) When I'm in your arms I start believing (it's here to stay) But love is only a feeling, anyway Oh, the state of elation that this unison of hearts achieved I had seen, I had touched, I had tasted and I truly believed That the light of my life would tear a hole right through each cloud that scudded by Just to beam on you and I Love is only a feeling (drifting away) When I'm in your arms I start believing (it's here to stay) But love is only a feeling, anyway Anyway Love is only a feeling (drifting away) And we got to stop ourselves believing (it's here to stay) 'Cause love is only a feeling, anyway

Possibly the best song on the best guitar album I've ever heard. As far as I'm concerned, this isnt rock, metal, glam, it's a guitar band. Some of the best guitar music ever. Track. After. Track. After. Track. For a while album. Then theres the lyrics, also amazing.

@Moondog-wc4vm2 жыл бұрын
@@oldwelshlady6584 Contrived is very much the point. They built on that, but with a deep knowledge of the music that went before. They want to sound like the bands that built fanatical followers back in the day. If you like it, you do. If you don't, then they probably got the whole thing wrong.
