My advice to anyone having a rhinoplasty. Do not have it done in the dead of winter. You will be much more likely to get anxiety and depression when being stuck inside after surgery. Also, if you are prone to anxiety, make sure to have meds on hand in case your brain decides to go off the rails. Before my surgery, I watched tons of videos from other people, and not many talked anything about the mental health struggles that may arise from having a surgery, especially one such as this.

I had my cast removed earlier this week and my first thoughts on my nose were that I HATE IT! I cried my eyes out! My nose is completely swollen from the sides and looks way long from my profile! Your nose looks so good!! I got my rhinoplasty done almost 3 weeks ago and it's sooo swollen and it looks horrible totally not happy. I also have a dent at the front of my tip and residual hump...😭 I'm so frustrated cause I can't do anything about it. I feel like it's botched.

thank you so much!! Don't worry about it honestly... have you watched my cast removal vlog? because I also had an extremely swollen nose, so much so that I also felt it was botched and was crying. No nose is perfect though in symmetry. What you are experiencing is swelling. Try to sleep on your back, use a airplane “C” shape pillow. Eat a lot of iron (spinach, sardines, etc…). Better to be patient and let the nose heal in terms of swelling compared to having to redo the procedure. I think your results will drastically increase soon!
