Dying to know what that blue/gray vehicle is in the background? It looks like a futuristic version of the old Ford Ranchero or Chevy El Camino.

Hey mate. It’s a holden commodore ute, about 12 years old. Ute version of the commodore sedan, for US they were the Pontiac G8. One in video is father in laws, 6 cylinder 210kw.

@@OliReu thanks for the info. As an American, & a car nut as well as bike nut, I had never seen or heard of the Holden Commodore, so I did some searching and learned something new!

How do you like them so far? Did you have a chance to ride with them (packed) offroad? With those OEM bag racks the bags I currently have seem to jump up and down a LOT when going over bumps, because that rear corner is not attached. Wondering if those bags are better at that. Great Vid btw! Will keep and eye out for your future content!

Cheers Jason, i havent had them offroad loaded up for campin as yet - prob be another milk till i get a chance - busy april and i was the crash bars on first. I have loaded with items from the post on dirt road home and all felt fine. These connected at two points i expect would also bounce a little - i dont intend on hard crazy offroad riding with the KLR so should be fine. To be honest for the $$ they are worth the gamble really and with some extra rock straps you could fashion them around pannier and frame to prevent any movement if you wanted to.

Hey can u give me a small feedback after 1 year using them? still waterproof? die plastic snap or did u fall and they ripped?
@OliReu
@OliReu 6 ай бұрын
All fine, I ripped one strap clip off as I left it undone and got caught in wheel, I just stole another clip off an old backpack which happened to suit perfect. So they have been fine after 1 year. Will be doing another 4 day trip at end of July so will have further feedback then.
