Indeed, a nice little surprise although I’m all sugared out now after all those Haribo! 😉. The Rake Riddle really is a nice bit of kit. It’s perfect for so many landscaping needs 👌

I ordered a Rhinox rake yesterday for my JCB mini and just had it delivered (blimin’ fast delivery) and I didn’t get a lovely care package or discount. Favouritsim. (Also known as jealousy). :)

@@deetee6621 I’m really pleased with mine I’m sure you will be too. They’re really good at getting the kit out to you quickly if it’s in stock and doesn’t have to be made especially. Sorry you missed out on the Haribo 😉

@@bluesix2843 I have Haribo. 👍 I’ve just been unpacking it and it’s not too heavy at all, which surprised me. Sunday, I’ll take it into my woods and start on the job in hand. I have a 30m x 3m x 10m pile of slate and soil to separate, but I think I’ll start on some easier stuff first to see how it performs. Let’s just hope the weather stops being a …….

@@deetee6621 Good luck with the weather! The bucket is great for finer finishes and yes not too heavy at all. 56.73kg I think it was. If you’ve got more heavy rough stuff run a land rake through it first 👍. (🥚 🥚 sucking eggs with that suggestion I’m sure 😉) happy sifting!

Excellent vid. Helped me decide on buying a Rhinox Rake Riddle bucket for my Volvo. Should be here in a few days. Maybe I'll do a video too. Cheers 😎

Been using the rake bucket for a few weeks now. Excellent product used to clear an overgrown area of my field.

Likewise. As long as you’re mindful it’s a lighter gauge rake riddle more suited to prep work and restoration rather than ripping out and Hulk smash types of work. The heavier gauge and land rake attachments are probably best to use initially and then revert to the RR for the sorting. Don’t want to bend those tines. I’m very pleased with mine. Thanks for the update 👍

Thanks for the review… what would it be like for well rotted compost with sticks and debris in? Cheers
@bluesix2843Ай бұрын
@@SYScottieyYou’re welcome and thanks. I find it great for anything friable enough to pass through the grills. Wet claggy material would jam it all up so best keep them clear. There’s not much I haven’t used it on now. Picking sensible material to run is of course key to success. The one thing I do recommend is not to over use it with extreme force to claw out and dig hard rubble etc. You want to keep the grills and teeth nice and straight for finishing work and uniform sorting. Always loose up your rough materials if they’re hard packed or jammed together. Just makes the job so much easier and also protects the integrity of the bucket 👍 happy sifting!

@@bluesix2843 we have a 2 month cooling mulch mound. It’s mainly a low cost way of thinning it out. Although we are trying to reduce what goes in it 🤣 don’t put big sticks in it 👎 so perhaps we have answered our own question without having to bit anything 😃
@bluesix2843Ай бұрын
@@SYScottiey Maybe! I mulch and compost all my wood chipper mulch. It makes fantastic compost if you leave it long enough. Gets super hot and produces beautiful rich material once the process has completed. Sells well too!

Yeah we have a great compost tons of it literally. Before we started to use the 2.7t digger to turn it it took 3 32ton Lorry’s to clear it. They always left some too. We are probably going to give it away. Grass, wood chip, leaf all at the same time.

@@SYScottiey Crikey that is a lot! People love free stuff however they don’t like it if they have to do the graft to collect and move it themselves!

Did you use the Rake Riddle to get that beard into perfect shape ? If you DID use it, did you keep a "finds table" of any ancient artifacts that you dug out ?
