Nene didn’t need to be judging Cynthia. Cynthia was a single mother; even when married to Peter because he wasn’t around. Nene was a single mother when her first two kids were young. She married Greg, had another son and they were a family. Nene had Greg’s support for over 2 decades; Cynthia did not have that. She was doing the hardest job a person could do ALONE. Nene has no empathy for that, or in general. Being a single mother isn’t easy period but raising little kids by yourself is not the same as raising teenagers by yourself. Also, Nene had sons and Cynthia had a daughter. I think having daughters is often a lot scarier for parents (in regard to safety concerns). You can tell by the way Cynthia was crying that she was struggling with and insecure about her parenting at that time, maybe being hard on herself.
