Throw a pothos cutting in water and you'll double your history of success overnight! Go after the small successes first and build an understanding of the environment that the cuttings need to thrive, then move to tougher plants.

@MikeKincaid79
@MikeKincaid79 Жыл бұрын
It would be tough for me to give you recommendations for GA, since I'm unfamiliar with the climate down there. I'm sure there's info online that can be found about it. Rhododendrons will grow in a fairly broad range of climates so you should be able to have a nice selection. One thing that I recommend people do is visit your local nurseries. They will usually have a supply of rhododendrons that will do well in your area, or be able to steer you in the right direction. I do know that azaleas are a big deal down there and grow very well.

To my surprise (and big joy), it was completely rooted, so I potted it into soil and hope it will survive. The others are still in bark, but I promised myself to be patient and not to touch them until winter of next year. So the fertilizer issue seems really important. It's been so great to follow your videos and see how roses and lavender have so easily rooted. Thank you sooooo much for that.

My oldest has rooted a store bought onion and some Wandering Jew plants. They're very interested and dabble in it. I don't push them though. I just let them watch me and I wait for them to have the desire to do something. I think that's a better route to getting them hooked. You know how kids are, it has to be their idea, haha.
