I gave up on country radio, until they play real country let's bring back the stars that made country what it realy is,No one is ever gonna tell me the steel guitar isn't country, Rhonda keep doing what you do true country fans still listen, taylor swift take your music were it belongs on pop radio.

Had not ever heard Rhonda until last year & I do believe this is the best version of this song I have ever heard. Country to the bone here :)

This is a fabulous rendition of Dallas Frazier's song, made famous, by Emmylou Harris on her Blue Kentucky Girl album 1978. On that recording, Rodney Crowell sings, back-up vocals and Hank DeVito is on pedal steel. One of the most beautiful country songs ever recorded, IMHO..... Rhonda Vincent is one of my other favorite female country music musicians and she knocks this song out of the park. Ricky Skaggs is in this tough crowd and actually played fiddle on the Emmylou recording, mentioned above. They all look to be blown away and on the verge of tears with this memorable performance. Bravo! I've seen her a couple of times and was equally blown away.

No autotune. Just the VOICE. And what a voice it is.I feel sorry for the folks that will miss out on performances like this in the future, when talent is an afterthought in ALL music. Like it is right now in most. The "look" and the "act" take precedence over what sounds good. Rhonda, and a few of her peers still performing singularly extinguish any wish to hear "modern" country.

This lady sure can sing, one of the few persons who are active today in the business who can sing.... talk about singing done right, the right way and the way country OUGHT to be DONE..... This gives me chills all over

Saw her at the Opry on my only trip there. When anybody is a good as she is, they don't have to be compared to anyone else. When you approach perfection, it is never a competition.

Rhonda is beyond comparison - tremendous, at least! She let's it all go and gives it all up when she sings - that kind of commitment is all too rare with most performers. ...just wish she would sometime include Alaska in her touring schedule!

She’s great!!! The whole band is fabulous. Probably underrated because they are the real country sound and Nashville does not like the very instrument that makes good country music. The steel guitar. The man playing it is such an outstanding musician.

Mike Johnson, in my opinion, is THE BEST Steel Guitar player around, he’s among the Greats! And helluva Nice guy too!! Rhonda’s voice is Amazing, love her

I watch the stars watching her and feel what they are feeling. Country music is such a blessing. They all see this. They look at her with the same respect that I do. All the people I used to listen to are all turning grey. They seem like a ghost from he past. I wish I could extend the respect and admiration that I feel towards real country music that they are all feeling.

Matthew, these "old timers" appreciate TALENT. They themselves are from the era that is seeing the last of great country music. I have ZERO doubt that some of the current crop have the chops, but producers have ruined country, bastardizing what country WAS.

I was luckey enough to see Rhonda Vincent grow into now. Played music at her and her famlies opry house in Missouri, we were all kids then. Her voice matured some however she grew up to her voice more. Always had that bluegrass voice! By the way...Blue grass singers make awesome country music voices!! ..Keith Whitley.. I think it's because bluegrass is so quick and right now! So that tranes them somewhat for a slow country song like this. And yes she is awesome still !!!
