This is for "protesters"/rioters/antifa to organize illegal activities; it has every appearance of a purpose-built organizing tool for concealing illegal acts, because legal acts do not require the protections Voxer offers. It hides in plain sight as a legitimate voice/text conferencing app, but its main difference is that it offers a "private mode" uses "end to end encryption", to keep voice and text communications from being reviewed by the cops following an arrest, and it also allows a specified retention period for messages that will automatically delete old messages instead of keeping them, removing potential evidence. A tool like this will have legitimate uses, and some people will experiment with it, but there are alternatives that are more mainstream.

Maria Ochoa you don’t need to give out your phone number for starters. I use one phone for everything and don’t want client’s ringing me when they get my number for WhatsApp. I deal with them in voxer or my client portal and group. That’s it.
