Thank you Bunny for a great video. Loved Tracy's Bottle garden the different planting on the inside, a master stroke. Simple but great. I always think how can I use just a tiny part of one of the gardens to use in my garden. Exciting.

Lovely, as always! This year I advertised all my used plastic pots on a local neighborhood site and gave them away for free. I had lots of takers!

Thank you Bunny ~ that was such an enjoyable & relaxing tour ~ you seem always to bring the most pertinent factors to the fore. The natural re-wilding type designs are beautiful, but I'm a little old-fashioned and, personally, look forward to a return to more formal planting, and traditional hard landscaping.

Thank you for the tour and great descriptions! Claus Dalby in Denmark has those wide borders filled to the brim with plants. I think he deadheads with a long tool of some kind. And not many weeds grow because there isn't room for them.

Is that the guy who employs two or more full time gardeners? Too labor intensive for my taste and means.
@holly_kay55703 жыл бұрын
@@pansepot1490 He has a huge garden--no lawn--2 acres consisting of multiple gardens like rooms. I think and he does have a couple of employees, although I don't know if they're full time. I couldn't do it either, but it's lovely to look at :)

So many meadows now for the gardens. I don't know how that would work in Texas, USA because of the different plant materials. Mostly the weedy bits take over eventually but I love the look and idea.

For Texas, the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center does a lot of native Texas wildflowers. If you are too far away to visit (Texas is big), they have a website. Almost nothing can be as beautiful as a planting of bluebonnets. Farmers even sow them because they are nitrogen fixers. For those who don't know bluebonnets, they are native lupines.

The message garden was my favorite. I've went peat free and buy my compost in bulk to skip all those plastic bags now, if only the industry could skip the plastic pots.

If I have to buy plants in plastic pots I leave them at the checkout and inform them I don't need nor want it. If we all did the same garden centres would soon change.

Ever warming climate...... I thought you guys had an unusually cool and snowy winter.
@julennavarrete7323 жыл бұрын
I know she said “ever warming climate”, suggesting the word Global Warming, but *Climate Change* is preferred because though the majority of the world is warming, the climate is shifting enough that there are both extreme heat waves and deep freezes 👍🏼

Global warming is the end result. First every weather system and season descends into chaos. Which, as you indicated, is occuring all the time now - all over the world. Two days ago my house flooded with water up to my ankles. Today its 31.C without a cloud in the sky.

You could turn off the audio and just look. This is a garden show with themes and messages of how you can have more than just beauty. Too bad you are a complete turn-off with no interest in learning or developing.

Not really climate change will eventually effect everything especially a garden. It’s great they’re addressing it.
