Absolutely stunning ... to slice that log into boards, and then segments, in order to maximize the material is brilliant. The sheen you got on the finished product from the mulberry reminds me a bit of myrtle wood from the Pacific Northwest, which looks a lot like Tiger’s Eye when it is sanded and polished. Blessings ... 🌼🤗🌼

Good afternoon, Rod. I have a friend who uses the line, 'make something from nothing.' It is my guess, if I sent you a leftover bent, warped and split 2X4, an old wooden yardstick from a garage sale, three wooden pencils and a limb from a pine tree, you could make an atomic submarine on your lathe. This video was definitely worth the wait. Beautiful. Every day is a gift. Give thanks. Semper Fidelis

I think that is the first Mulberry turning I have seen and it is gorgeous! That is one beautiful vase. Regarding Psalm 118:24, a men's retreat I was on added the word "choose" before "to rejoice" so my wife and I every morning clink our coffee cups and say, "This is the day the Lord has made, let us CHOOSE to rejoice and be glad in it!"
