Ok I did it for you: the TLDR version, obviously you get all the comments when seeing the video 1. Get rings and amulets that adds flat damage 2. 1-70 maximize damage is key, focus on weap - craft new 3. Invest in two Rubies, one for weap (damage) - one for helm (xp) 4. Salvage everything 5. Don’t unsocket gems, salvage instead 6. Mainstat is most important (vitality+xp tied second) a. Str: Barb and Crusader b. Dex: Monk and DH c. Int: Wiz and WD 7. Play mostly on hard difficulty - increase if you receive large spike in dmg 8. Play adventure mode not campaign 9. Minimize downtime (in town, crafting gear, selecting skills etc) 10. Steal followers weapons 11. At lvl 42 craft weapon that rolls reduced level requirement lvl 60 can have -18 lvls 12. Pre-plan skills 13. Minimize debating upgrade - 'does it increase dmg?' then yes, unless helmet without socket 14. When going solo then hire the Templar as follower 15. Don’t go for stragglers, go for packs of mobs and use aoe abilities. Pull stragglers along to new groups 16. Play in a party, plus xp from gear is shared party wide (on top of the bonus for part) 17. Save any puzzle rings or bovine Bardiche, can be put in Kanai’s kube at lvl 70 18. Most effective way to level: Without the need for keys for regular rifts, it is recommended as the fastest leveling method Hold on to the following items: • Leoric’s Crown • Cain’s set • Sash of knives • Tasker and theo • Schaeffer’s Hammer • Nagelring • Fire walkers • Pox Faulds • Depth Diggers • Stone of Jordan • Strongarm Bracers Barbarian: • Dread Iron • Bracers of Destruction • Bracers of the first men • Skull Grasp • Fury of the vanished peak Crusader: • Guard of Johanna • Jekangbord • Golden Flense Demon Hunter: • Spines of Seething Hatred • Kridershot Monk • Gyana Na Kashu • Gungdo Gear • The Crudest Boots • Incense Torch Witch Doctor • Jeram’s Bracers • The Short Man’s Finger • The Tall Man’s Finger • Belt of Transcendence

I've got a Crusader build I've come up with I haven't really seen anywhere (though admittedly I'm not much of an expert) and I thought I'd bring it up for some feedback- Primary Gear: Weapon - Cam's Rebuttal Armor set - Seeker of the Light Vital item ability (I get it via Kanai's Cube) - Ivory Tower Secondary Gear (best I got so far for synergy with the build): Shield - Coven's Criterion Gem - Esoteric Alteration Bracers - Krelm's Buff Bracers Item ability (I get it via Kanai's Cube) - Countess Julia's Cameo Item ability (...) - Ice Climbers Important Skills: Punish (Retaliate) Blessed Hammer (Limitless) Falling Sword (Flurry) Provoke (Hit Me) Heavenly Strength Hold Your Ground Holy Cause Finery Choose your gear buffs to maximize Life per Hit, Holy Damage, Blocking and durability. Build concept: You Falling Sword (twice) into a huge mob of enemies and then start slugging it out with them via Blessed Hammers, working in Punish blows in between to keep your Block percentage up. The more enemies attack you the more you Block and the more you Block the more you shoot Fires of Heaven (can look like a friggin' machine gun when facing large mobs). ALL your damage is Holy, and thanks to Holy Cause you heal for 1% of the Holy damage you inflict, so the more they hit you the more you hit them back and the more you heal. So your Blessed Hammers (which you spam relentlessly) heal you whenever they hit an enemy and your enemies spam Fires of Heaven for you which also heals you and every once in a while you hop around like a trippy angel slamming down with holy wrath into mobs of enemies which ALSO heals you, and if the going gets tough you just Falling Sword out of dodge (with your second hop, the first one slams back down into the mob to let them stew in a storm of blades while you catch your breath). I'm thinking of calling it the "Holy Spammerdin". :P

For 2.4 I would, may be, recommend to start levelling the 1st character in "Normal" difficulty until level 23, in order to trigger the new bonus XP kill chain feature, which is now also for PC. Then start the campain mode by rushing the Act I until the skeleton king in order to try finding (RNJsus) the set Helmet Cain's knowledge or something to max the XP.

One item I would consider adding to the keep list is the broken crown. Getting more gems is a pretty good way of generating gold. Once I started getting Marquise drops, I would sell extra gems for some nice gold return.

Leoric's Crown has a guaranteed drop chance at lvl 21 or above till lvl 64 on campaign mode after killing King Leoric. I suggest you only do this if you either find an imperial, marquise ruby or reach lvl 50. The time it takes you do it from the very start is around 15 minutes depending on luck, but at lvl 50 with a class that has fantastic mobility, you can cut this time down to 8-11minutes. The benefit of doing this is your whole group gets a leorics crown and all benefit from the bonuses.

I have been playing WoW since Cata, and plan to play Diablo 3, but really can't decide on which class- I think Barbs are like Fury Warriors, Wizards are like Mages, Crusaders are like Protection Paladins, Witchdoctors are like Affliction Warlocks and Elemental Shamans, monks are like monks, and demon hunters are like rogues and hunters. Tell me which class fits the category of "holy build, tanky, heavy armor. I think that is crusader, but tell me if I'm wrong.

Great video - certainly gives someone like myself some food for thought. I could use a bit more advice if either yourself or anyone can help me out...here goes... I am currently just on PTR as I only installed the game on the pc a few weeks ago...have been loving seing what patch 2.4 is brining in, and have got a Monk to 70, alhtough I am playing solo as I don't know too many friends that are playing it too. I am doing bounties on a T2 level and will hopefully move up a bit soon as I'm starting to get used to that now. My problem is this...with 2.4 being just around the corner I don't know if I can somehow go live with this current character or do I need to role an entirely new one now with 2.3 and carry that over when 2.4 goes live? I really have no idea what to do on this - I can understand if I can't take my character from the PTR over to a live server (I know in some games you can take a live character to a test environment) or if I need to role a new one and hopefully be able to use that. If it's the latter then I can follow this guide and get myself up there ready in a relatively short time period...I have thoroughly enjoyed playing the Monk. I really hope someone can help me out here...here's hoping! :)

How do you get a level 60 weapon at level 18, to which you can re-roll the weapon to level 18? Won't only weapons roughly around your level drop and not weapons way above your level.

+daniel14251 I think he means that you can get a level 60 weapon to drop with an affix of reduced level requirement of 18. Meaning that it can be used at level 42. You can get weapon drops which are much higher than your current character level. Hoped this helped! :)

Having played S2 and S3, I have to wonder it they were worth the time. By that I mean, leveling up, plus farming gear, when in Normal mode I already have all classes leveled-up, and quite probably with gear that will already make it easier to run higher difficulties in order to get what few pieces I need for the latest "best builds." With Seasons, you have to start completely from scratch, and even if getting to 70 only takes about 5-6 hours, getting the gear just seems to take such a long time, that I can't possibly level up all classes in Seasons before it ends (I barely managed to get nigh-complete sets for DH and Wiz). So, the question is, are the Seasons-only items worth it, especially if you don't plan on competing on the leader boards, or should one stick with normal mode?

+ackthbbft That is absolutely up to you. I enjoy the race trying to get geared for seasons and see just how much I can do before the season ends but I can see why someone would want to stick with non season characters for the highest level content since you already have everything.

+Mason Soye I believe the wings Rhykker has are from the Starcraft 2 expansion collector's edition. There are two others, a gold set (for buying RoS) and a blue set (for buying the collectors edition of vanilla D3). I'm unsure if there are any more wings available currently.

Can you explain the Puzzle Ring tip to get the Vault? I tried it today, popping it in on it's own and nothing happened - I then tried to extract it but received only the affix of the ring

+Lewis Ironside You do not have to select the jewelry tab as someone previously mentioned. Those pages are only for understanding what you need for the transmutes. You probably had a previous vault open in that game. You can only have 1 vault open per game. All you need is the puzzle ring and click transmute.

I get to 70 in 10ish minutes. What I do is ignore season start for 5 days, then log in, /w a friend that has been playing 70 hours a day and is paragon 500+ already, then we open a regular rift, I stand at the entrance and by the time he has killed RG, I am lvl 70.
