+L. Berg Laukvik AS you could put the bow in rhe cube and get the effect that way, but you're losing the giant resource cost reduction on the bow. also If you're not playing by yourself you could just have a support build with the bracers anyhow.

I honestly believe that immunity to thorns is more important than the damage bonus from convention. Cube the fire immunity amulet for more consistent and much easier runs.

I made a really similar build some weeks ago, with some changes, i didnt run the numbers but the damage may be a little lower on my build but the playstyle fits me better. I cuted taeguk for iceblink so trapped and cull of the weak was allways enabled, and instead of caltrops i run with vengance seethe, and bat companion instead of wolf, ive made it into the 60s with that variant, the problem i have with the build in the video is that you have a lot of time when trapped and cull of the weak are disabled, but i guess it compensates with the damage of taeguk and standing in the caltrops.

I'm aware that this is an stupid point but at first I wasn't aware that the buff from the set applies over the "remaining" discipline, not over the total, it took me a while to figure out, I think that you should at least mention in your video that you should keep your discipline at 100%.

I couldn't not try it on the PTR but when the patch goes live I am going to test Demon's Demise the new hand crossbow in the cube and replace Caltrops with Stick Traps. And I think Yang's Recurve plus other gear with RCR should should be enough so I will try Hunter's Wrath in the cube instead of Cindercoat and use Witching Hour as damage buff

Rhykker, a question on this build, what do you think would be the outcome of cubing that ring that converts fire damage into health, when eventually fighting a reflex damage pack? Would this tactic give an edge in surviving the reflexed damage? Would it compromise the overall damage output too much to render the substitution unviable? What do you think?

I use two legacy sojs .... they both have discipline with crazy elite dmg. and yes I can use two sojs one legacy when AH was around and one before the discipline stat was patched out

20 more discipline from the two soj with the 6piece set gives 300% more dmg. With the 60% dmg to elite..... it doesnt matter that the rings are also equip wit CC and CD LOL

When you re-roll one of the stats on the Yangs Recurve to RCR you will have 40-50 RCR & 5-10 RCR = 45-60 RCR not 45-55.... Other then that, every thing else seems right... xD

Hi, i thought about it and what if i wil use the GRR ring for the extra set bonus, put cindercoat on (extra 15% fire dmg) and now i have room in the cube for the armor set the thing is that convention ring give 200%+ dmg but only 2 one element at a time so 3/4 of the time i dont use that bonus so i got like +50% dmg from the ring.... but if i have now 15% from the cindercoat and have a free slot in the cube maybe i can make it better.... what do u say? what to put in the armor slot in the cube?...

Wait did I miss something? How will you proc Bane of the Trapped without Thunderfury in the cube (Using calamity instead)? Use your follower again? I personally don't really like that method. don't want to lean on my follower much as I play coop with my solo builds frequently. The only way it will work with calamity and without a follower is with Iceblink I guess.

Are caltrops the only way to slow enemies for Cull the Weak/BotT? Doesn't seem like enough to get that passive if you aren't constantly dropping the caltrops on enemies. Or was there something else I missed that slows in this build?

No... I used ice blink... Or whatever that gem is called. It slows enemies when you attack em... And since multishot has a big aoe is easy to proc it

Tomáš Wagner Amulet: Ess of Johan is a great for clumping up enemies and just generally CC'ing them. I actually use two Wyrdwards - the new Wyrdward and a legacy Wyrward - both bonuses stack! You can also go with a bul-kathos wedding band for a small amount of added damage.

The quiver rhykker uses in this build has something like 15% multi shot damage but be aware that that specific quiver can drop with much higher I have seen many versions of it many non ancient with 80 or more than 90% multi shot damage in fact the one I have now has 88% extra damage so I don't know why rhykker is using that quiver in this video

If I remember correctly, the Dead Man's Legacy quiver's max multishot damage was much lower in the patch version that he's playing in this video. It can now go up to 100%. I actually have one that has 98% increased damage, but at the time, the maximum you could get was much lower.

Honestly I hate playing stutter step style, its hard on the hands. Realistically you receive almost the same benefit from bane of the powerful (especially since DH can't use furnace), and keeping it up is easy in rifts and grifts with all the elites, easier imo than all that work to constantly keep the stacks from falling off Taguk. Taeguk is good for like a whirling barb or naty DH using strafe, that constantly hits as it moves. Just my opinion.

I've sworn by smoke screen over vault ever since the expansion came out once I found out that it basically breaks all CC (though you need to nail the timing if you're in a bad situation), but one question Rhykker. Why the displacement rune instead of healing vapors? Just curious.

WarriorPoetGaming Displacement gives you a better shot at also getting out of range of elite attacks that last longer than the immunity. At higher rifts the healing will not save you from an elite attack that comes just after you dropped smoke screen, essentially everything will one-shot you.

David Ahlstrand That is a PTR buff that is used mainly for the 2000% legendary drop rates and 300% xp to get to 70 and test builds quickly. Shouldn't be on the PTR grinding for gear so it just speeds things up. Buff isn't announced when it's up or when it is off.

It'll start dropping when you are 70 and it mostly revolves around your luck from then on out!

Yes they are. They will drop so long as you're playing at or above torment 1. the Hellfire amulet can only be crafted though, and the legendary gems earned by completing greater rifts. If you need to know about any of these things (hellfire amulet, legendary gems, greater rifts), a quick google search should point you in the right direction in no time. Have fun!
