Thank you so much for this video. Growing up, we had a caravan in Towyn and I loved going into Rhyl. For the last six year's, I've been taking Mum to Sunnyvale Caravan Park and we stay in a luxury lodge overlooking the sea. We still love Rhyl and I don't care what anybody says about the town. The people are so friendly and I will always visit this place.

Used to go Rhyl for our yearly Family holiday in the 90s Always remember the sea front of amusements that went on and on , the fun fair at the top where all the coach trips used to pull into , all the cheap Bed & Breakfasts, the sun centre and who remembers the outside swimming pool across from the palace arcade 🙏 Amazing memories

Sadly there is hardly anything left of the old Rhyl. The council saying they trying to get Rhyl modern looking but locals liked it how it was. Ahh well progress I suppose. Thank you for your comment please look at my other clips during these sad times and I hope I make somebody happy again

I was at this place on Friday gone and the water was near the spot where you are standing. Your right hand side bridge was full of water. My video will come out on coming Wednesday. Must watch it. Your video is fantastic. Thanks for showing all the spots. I will come next time again to make more videos at this place.

I'm Mickey Swann and used to love coming to Rhyl for a day out in the 1980s as an alternative to Blackpool or Southport. Went swimming in the Sun Centre and then to the funfair rides and amusements especially the Funhouse in stockingfeet. Also remember the Sky Tower ride where the Welsh mountains around Snowdonia can be seen and possibly Blackpool Tower on a clear day. Sadly all these attractions are long gone, and today I don't hang around the town that has become run down for more than an hour preferring to go to Llandudno.

Yes they were better days haven’t got a clue what the council are upto these days, although to be fare they’ve made another sub centre and that’s about it, hate to be on our council. Thanks for you comment though, and stay safe

@@MrBumpkin001 They must be same people who run Southport. They used to have Europes only American designed figure of 8 wooden roller coaster there, then they closed the fair and sent in a work crew with chain saws!!! Mental.
