Just curious, is this same audio mix/master that will be on the CD? Obviously it would be higher quality/clearer than streaming on KZbin, but other than that, is this the final production?

You upload this preview in HD, but plan to ship as a DVD. Thanks but no thanks. DMB is not getting another dollar from me for standard def video, on discs. I don't even have a DVD drive anymore!

the dvd is like 6 bucks with the cd...and if u have a bluray drive you obviously have a dvd drive most bluray players play both

***** Agreed that ALL, not most, Blu-ray players will play DVDs but that doesn't excuse in 2014 not offering a Blu-ray, not a single one, of the artist who sold more tickets between 2000 ~ 2009 than anyone else. Heck Trent Reznor released raw footage to fans and they did a fan made Blu-ray for heaven's sake, it's simply inexcusable for this to not be on Blu-ray.

To be clear your buyig the cd......the dvd is like 6 dollars so ppl stop complaining about piratically free shit... if the bluray were released it would def be like $25 extra

Are people complaining about the price? No, they're complaining about in 2014 there still not being a single DMB Blu-ray available. Who cares if it would be $25 more (which it wouldn't, you can take that argument back to 2006 when it might have held weight, Blu-ray usually adds only a $3~$5 premium over DVD releases) as you could go ahead and pick up the free DVD version, I'd much prefer to pay for the Blu-ray version. Not to mention the DVD, if is has surround sound, will be paltry 448 Kbps Dolby Digital which is just not well suited to fidelity, particular for music.

Maybe the next studio album will have a collectors bluray or maybe a full bluray dvd exclusive release sometime down the road, I also would enjoy it but Im just saying its not as simple as you make it out to be. I dont see live trax series getting one anytime soon btw the radio city bluray is like 15$ extra compared to DVD and thats older so i really think it'd be more. ***** I agree they have a lossless stereo option, but I'm referring to the 5.1 mix (if like LT28 DVD it has one) which I really enjoy for concerts. A Blu-ray would have had an uncompressed (or dts-ma/TrueHD) 24/96 track for the surround sound. Even if you don't think LT will ever get Blu-ray (and the costs in 2014 are marginal compared to what they were in 2006 during the format war days with HD DVD) it's bizarre that 8.5 years into the format that Central Park hasn't been reissued, or Piedmont, or any of the other DVD releases that we know were shot on film or in HD. Remember at one point we never thought we'd see a Live Trax on vinyl, or a Live Trax on DVD, that point was less than 2 years ago for vinyl and just several months ago for DVD. Currently on Amazon the Dave and Tim Blu-ray is $19.79 and the DVD is $16.39.

Esteban Burke Id like one as well not trying to argue but we gotta remember the live trax series is primarily audio and if theres video its almost like bonus content so they're primarily focused on the cds/vinyl. They have a great crew to film themselves but as far as the producer/distributor of the dvds maybe theres an issue there who knows. but i agree with everything you said. yeah when the blu came out if i recall it was 34.99 or something along those lines while the dvd has always been around 15-20

I agree. The bass is washed. It's really hard to get that in live amongst the other sounds but with their $$ they can! I'm not complaining though. I love DMB and have such a special connection with them and our music school for kids. I hope he tours forever.
