Fun fact one of the only ways to use the "all gods are removed from play" version of the pyramid of light is with Yu-Gi-Oh pro or some old Yu-Gi-Oh games on handhelds

Pyramid of Light should have an additional effect that says ("All God Card Monsters On The Field are Removed From The Game") Then when u destroy the pyramid of light and bring out the sphinxes. The Yugi Player could play the Return From Different Dimension to bring the Egyptian Gods back. That would be super epic :D
