A thing that's kinda shocking about Sacred Beasts is that Cerulean Skyfire is legitimately weird negate. It doesn't negate activations or effects, it negates the resolution of the effect, meaning that it can negate things like Solemn Judgement and Super Poly. Also since the negate isn't actually an effect activation, it means that your opponent can't respond to it, to negate your negation. It's kinda wild to me that when Konami decided to basically invent Spell Speed 5, they gave it to a Hamon support card of all things.

For the question at the end: Goku would throw the Spirit Bomb, Red-Eyes would retreat into Toon Kingdom, then the Spirit Bomb would hit the duelist who summoned Toon Red-Eyes anyways because Goku isn't playing duel monsters and win him the battle. Or if you're using Goku as a card, then it depends on his stats. 98% of the custom cards involving Goku make him broke out the wazoo, so there's that. Using TheDuelLog's SSGSS Goku, for example, Goku would just outburn Red-Eyes(is direct attacking over monsters counted as burn? It isn't effect damage, but it's application is basically the same) since they can't destroy each other.

Last night I screwed over one of those stupid banish decks specifically a necroface deck in the synchro tournament with super heavy samurai and it all stemmed from stealing a card that forces your opponent to discard a card from the top of their deck to attack. Honestly I think they were just scared of losing their whole deck to hitting a necroface because there were several points where they could have simply overwhelmed me with attack power but chose not to for no reason

Oh god, toons! I have such a love hate relationship with toons! I love the concept and art, but there is no archetype I hate playing against more than toons. I have never beaten it in a proper duel, and I hate how it attacks you directly since it nullifies whatever defense of monsters you’ve put up. I always feel so hopeless whenever I face it, but I just can’t hate it for it cause it’s such a fun designed archetype

For the record goku has fought areal Chan who is essentially a cartoon character once in dragon ball and once in super and the only thing that seemed to permanently kill a toon is destruction energy so in short goku can’t beat red eyes dragon but now vegeta can since he has Been taught how to use destruction energy
