I Went Back To Xenoverse 2 First Time In A Year

I used to adore Xenoverse 2 and I played it every single day as soon as I got home from school. It was incredibly special to me to be able to create an oc and play through the game however I was highly disappointed with the story of the game as it was literally Xenoverse 1 with bonus features. The gameplay is amazing and if they do a Xenoverse 3 I would really love them to change the story and make new villains rather than take existing villains from Dragon Ball Online. As for the current state of Xenoverse, it's an incredibly janky game that you'd think despite how many updates and how many dlc they would have fixed it but nah they too lazy for that. The game is definitely not a dead game and it still brings people in. I probably won't touch Xenoverse 2 for a long time still but I still enjoy watching Xenoverse content.

Unfortunately yeah. The game is a shit load of fun with things like a good roster, nice customization (even though it could be better), and the ability to figure out your own moveset. I really like the game, but it is kinda sleeping rn. I wouldn't say it's dead, but it's definetly not the most "alive" it has ever been. I guess it's only natural. The game IS kinda old

i remember rhyme rage quitting to seereax back in the day, still one of the funniest vids out there, xenoverse in one word i would say "developing" as in it has potential and theres a lot of great things about it, just needs to fix the jank and to stop with the micro transactions and the never ending dlc packs, if they just work on 3 and have all the characters they were planning on adding from the start, and have any newly created or introduced characters as the dlc, then i would call it a great game.

There are so many cool characters to pull from in Heroes. We've basically got all the potentially exciting characters from Z/GT/Super (the anime at least). Heroes would be the next logical step. With Super returning though, who knows what they'll have to pull from by the time XV3 comes out.

I used to have Xenoverse 2 on my Xbox but now I have a Ps5 and I don’t think I want to buy it again right now with all the dlc when Xenoverse 3 will eventually happen. The major complaint I had I had with the online besides the unstable connection is that most matches end up with me going again a CaC. I wish you could set up a lobby with just original characters or just Cacs. Most customizations for fight settings would be great.

I would describe Xenoverse as great. New dlc was pretty cool. Recently, nothing to do with said dlc, but came to find out that Videl is actually a pretty good character to fight as, used her randomly on the women fighters only world tournament the other day and was whipping some nearly ass with her. And it showed that eagle kick, hawk charge, and justice rush are all pretty underrated moves. Love the xenoverse vids Rhyme. Always have, always will!!
