Rhys is the friend you'd want to dance with on a night out, he's full of energy, rhythm and fun! and boy can he dance!

I felt Rhys was most comfortable here, giving showmanship and a Samba feel. It had a lot more of a traditional Brazilian samba feel than International Latin. His voltas are actually one of my favourite from a male ever (0:25) you can see the body actually working to do the motion rather than being lazy. I would give a 10 for this, but weirdly I can see it also being an 8 or 9 in other peoples eyes.

NeonCChrissy I thought Rhys had better voltas than Danny, who I felt was sometimes actually a little awkward in Latin. But Danny's samba overall was better.

R M For me with Danny, I had two major issues. Obviously, his timing, performance and characterisation in all his dances were fantastic. My technical issues with him though is that he had the opposite of flat-footedness...he was always way too high up on his toes and couldn't create the bounce action in a natural way in things like samba, and made his cha-cha and rumba not look grounded enough too. The other thing that I couldn't get over was his arms. They often were held so awkward in his Latin dances. They looked wooden often to me.

I give Rhys and Nancy 9 out of 10. This was incredible! I loved this - this was the best Samba of the series so far, in my opinion! Rhythmical, but a few of the steps were too spiky. Adored it though!

Honestly, I really don't know who's going to be in the final, I couldn't call it, they ALL deserve it. If it was the Rhys from a few weeks ago I might've said it would be him that's knocked out, but last week and this week, he's upped his game massively; the level of control, dedication and sheer determination he's shown proves how much he deserves it. He's come leaps and bounds. Why can't there be four people in the final??!!

And to witness another's enthusiasm (each week) for each NEW dance - was soo exciting - can say here with great admiration that - YOU (Rhys) and Nancy rocked Strictly for me (more than anybody else) - for me you smashed it! And the reason is .... Because you were not motivated by 'winning' - you fell in love with your dance-journey! Your 'foot-loose' was awesome!! Every week you delivered amazing performances .... Score: *9* I still think Rhys is hot lol and I GOT A SAMBA ROLL WOOHOO!! However, I felt like the execution was jagged and spiky in some places. However, the samba had top-tier energy especially since I remember this as a SALSA with QUEEN KATIE AND ANTON. Nancy should get her flowers for putting A SAMBA ROLL but also botofogos and voltas. Also, nice bounce action throughout made it more fabulous. Just an all-round good time, isn't it!

Score - *9/10* I really loved the showmanship and flashiness of this Samba, if I was to do a Samba on strictly this is exactly the type of Samba I'd go for, well it had better be tonight couldnt be any further from the truth because it would have been better if this had have been any other night for Rhys because unfortunately the rest have outshined him tonight. This would have been a 10 if he would have had abit more smoothness in the bounce it wasnt very natural but apart from that, wonderful shimmys, a lovely cortajacka section, nice promanade runs, it was rhythmical, it was energetic, it was the perfect dance for Rhys and if it is his time to leave tonight which I think it is he has 100% gone out on a high and it was a million times better than the Tango I thought.

It's going to be so, so very hard, to eliminate someone tomorrow night. Rose, AJ, Rhys, and John, each brought their own unique dance styles (which they probably didn't know they had 12 weeks ago) to the dancefloor. These celebs have turned into exceptional dancers. Each has gained confidence and personal growth. Their taskmasters did their jobs, and then some... I applaud them for pulling out iconic performances from their charges.

I still get really distracted by his awful facial expressions, and unfortunately I don't think his body rolls or whatever you call them (Gyrations?) were particularly clean. I'm being nitpicky of course, because he's clearly very good, but it didn't deserve 10s in my opinion. It's a 9 from me. I think he's very good, but I can't see him reaching the final. Sorry!

Fantastic energy, outstanding sense of rhythm, it looked as though Rhy's feels the music with every bone of his body. Marvelous footwork... (almost) every single step of the samba was executed perfectly - he had fantastic hip action, he kept one leg straight and one leg bent as should be. Rhy's is a firebomb, he gave it all on the dancefloor, he was bursting with energy... it was VERY close to perfection. It was almost a samba masterclass. Great joy to behold! There were two little errors, but I'm sure that if he would have been given a tad more time to practice, it would have probably be the best male samba ever on the show! Very close to perfection. The choreography was fantastic, his footwork was superb, the way he felt the music was stunning, the way he moved and used his body was technically so magnificent, and artistically and rhythmically-wise simply marvelous. I would have definitely saved Rhy's in the dance-off, he should have been in the final 100%. His waltz, his charleston (that I really wanted to see in the final) and also his samba, with a bit more training, could have been some of the best dances EVER on the show. It is such a pity and such an injustice that his was not save. My score: with tones of pleasure and admiration for the level of technicality - a 9!

I think the right couples are in the final. Rhys has done well especially the last few weeks. Overall he struggled with arms everywhere and calming down. Nancy did an amazing job coaching through. He is very talented and a nice kid. His dance off performance wasn’t as clean as the original but boy did he bring it.

It was very, VERY good. My only beef with it is the song is Old School Samba and the choreography was much more modern. I would've loved to see some Old School choreo as well, but overall, I'm not mad at it.
