This is one of the few dances of the night that felt like someone was putting on a show. With Rhys, I think there is going to be at times that awkward moment (due to energy) but this was a great way to start a semi-final. I would give a 9.

Ok! This was great especially his hold. What a revelation Rhys has had in his closed hold dancing. Bizarrely he looked quite stiff out of hold, (probably not trying to overdance it). He also went ahead of the music at one stage but I can see him enjoying this dance which is good 8.5!

Nancy's coreographies are always so powerful and she is such a humble partner because she always coreographs so Rhys can shine! And he always shines! He has improved A LOT since the begining and we can always feel his energy. I just love him.

8 Yeah, his confidence has definitely grown over the last weeks. He attacked this dance and kept that drive all the way through. It really felt like he was leading! Unfortunately, I feel the judges let him off a little lightly as it was a little jerky at times (not due to rise and fall but he slightly anticipated the beat a few times) and I feel that he could've arched his body forward slightly more in hold to create the V shape. His rigid posture that he hasn't managed to lose generally isn't an issue in this dance but it would've been better if he'd appeared more centred. Footwork was perfect though and I loved how passionate he was about this whole routine.

Score: *9* I know I said that Rhys was hot last week but this week RHYS STILL LOOKS HOT!! Ballroom hold still better than his prior ballroom dances and the attitude was there from him AND Nancy. Score - *8/10* I know everyone was all over this but this just wasn't for me, it felt stiff and rough, ahead of the beat out of hold and the elbows were strange and last but not least waaaaaay to much time out of hold as per usual with his Ballroom it's just so predictable now. When in hold it was gorgeous, lovely diagram and the footwork was lovely with impressive spotting and crossovers, it was powerful, it had control, drive and enthusiasm but it lacked head movements and it just didnt gel together for me and the song choice was a mistake for this, I wish I could say it was brilliant and deserved its score and appreciation it got but unfortunately that's just the way I am.

I was disappointed with this dance. I was expecting a much stronger performance. After Rhy's waltz, that was almost flawless, I was excepting his next ballroom number to be as equally brilliant, but it wasn't. His hold was too wide, his knees were too bent, and his feet were turned out. The lines that he has created were not clean at all. It had the intensity and it had the drama and the attack, but it did not have the attention to details. The way he placed his feet wasn't good, it made it all lack seamlessness, clarity, symmetry and proper gliding. The quality of movement was lost in the presentation and the attack. So, Rhy's came out full guns blazing, he was into the music 100%, he gave the character, but the dance itself was a bit shaky, it was lacking clean lines, seamless movement, there was not enough connection with the floor. My score: a 7.
