The problem is VeVe counter signaled Rhys on larger platforms. So no, they were dishonest, and Rhys was sort of the backstop for honesty or semi transparency. They can always point to that interview and say look see we told you. The fact is they were spreading all kinds of misinformation about the project at the same time and since.

I’m not a programmer but I highly doubt the veve app is capable of AR gaming. It’s barely functional as a marketplace. I think we were outright lied to from the beginning thus the silent treatment now regarding updates.

I think it's smart to assume that what you have now is the finished product. Endless drops with more cluttered app. I can only assume it was too expensive to finance any gamification and build a metaverse. If they lose customers, so be it. The founders made money and can retire, so it really doesn't affect them.

Could you do a video on it veve should call the “veveverse” and “verse”. Everything I’ve seen up to now of the veveverse lend more to “VeVe VAULT 2.0” than an actual metaverse . I assume I don’t know what qualifies as a metaverse and what doesn’t. Please educate us through a one-to-one comparison of what veve has built and other so called metaverse.

The collectible could act as the "pass" or "key" to unlock a skin. Unfortunately the fact that Rhys didnt understand that and even mentioning Trevor's pushback tells me gamification was never on VeVe's radar, and team members were just recycling users' speaking points on the gamify issue. The real problem as you said Joe is the "gray area" and deceptiveness from the start.

I don’t think Pokémon is the savior of Ecomi, especially of OMI. It can bring new people in if it drops, but I would not put Pokémon on VeVe at this rate. Wait a year or two and team up with a real gaming platform, why relegate the IP to snake oil salesman?

I honestly dont understand this whole thing with collectibles with the skeleton. Collectibles dont need skeleton to be gamified. The games will be developed "idenpendently" and collectibles used as keys to unlock the characters and other things. Why is this such a deal? There are other bigger issues.

If I saw this video when it came out in 2022 I would have sold everything then. It is painfully obvious that no one was on the same page. They just made a white paper with all kinds of promises then came up with excuses why it can't happen. Veve is dead, you will never get new users with their current set up. Video gamers already hate NFTs and they would be in a greater hate if they bought stuff then found out its just a glorified vault metaverse.
