Nicko still unchanged after all those "wasted years"! Still beaming with positivity and enthusiasm! What a fantastic role model and drummer! British Drum Company must be thrilled to have him. He should help catapult the brand upward and onward where they belong. Beautiful set there people! While I doubt I could afford that at the moment, I will be at least looking at acquiring Nicko's signature snares. This was a great clip which i thoroughly enjoyed! Cheers!

The biggest difference I see in Nikko is that he's FULLY involved with Keith & The BDC, knowing everything about the kit which is awesome. Even when he was with Premier for over 30 years I never heard him so detailed about the drums as he is here. I'm lucky to know Keith from his days at Premier & he's an absolute genius, the best thing to ever happen to him was being let go by Premier. The BDC is a force to be reckoned with & is taking over the drumming world with the full spectrum of products available.

I remember watching some videos of him (not sure if he was playing with Iron Maiden, at the time) playing DW drum set. Now, I know that drummers get paid and also get new drum sets by the companies they use. From Sonor, Premier, DW (???), Sonor (again), now this? Ok, he said that this isn't to be used with IM, but man, he changes his mind a lot. Or, aren't the companies paying what's owed to the man, and as such, he keeps changing. Whatever the reason, probably we'll never know. But, it is wonderful to see that he is still such a lovely down-to-earth and good spirited guy. What a fantastic character, and most importantly, what a Drum God. He makes his job look and sound so easy to do. You just have to love him.

Lots of people shouting about him leaving Sonor.... Nicko is a putting effort in to getting a British drum company back in the game which is well needed and admirable. Premier made some brilliant kits in the 90s with the Genista and Signia, and their demise was a real shame as they had lots of history behind them. No one would hassel a German or US drummer for choosing a brand from their own country. The guys doing it clearly for the right reasons.

I love the drums Not sure I will go and sell my sonars because I love my kit and at 14+ thousand US dollars I am kinda stuck. The kit he rep'ed looks amazing but with all my cymbals where I am way heavy than him I am not sure it makes sense. Oh and yes I use double base drum beater unlike him 12 piece Sonar drum kit Roland 8 Piece TD-30KV 26 Total Cymbals both Roland and Piaste and Still building new to come will be both Roland TD-30KV Pro and TD50 Pro Deciding on adding more cymbals or not takes up so much room you would really hate it.
