Well in 1-X the main problem isn't the errors messing up the beat, it's the fact the second half is in 7/8 and not 8/8 like most of the game (no breather beat between beat 7 and 1 of the next measure)

Just count to 7 out loud and press the key when reaching 7. You only really have to listen to the audio at the start to learn the rhythm then you can just follow your counting.

Cool little thing: If you play on speed-up mode (Press D instead of Enter when selecting a level) all the text goes by a little faster. Normally, if you get to around 1:40, it will say "The most important thing is: BLASGHADGH" On speed up mode, it will say; "The most important thing is: Don't trust the screen-BLASFBDHHG" Try it! Pretty cool, huh?

I wanted to play this game so much again, so after 3 year break I discover the creator did a site of this game, I got curious if he made any updates, so I played it. Suddently, I see a character that wasn't here before, so I checked it out. Then I see a text named "BOSS STAGE", I jumped of suprise and was so happy about new feature, once the song started, I got very determined to do this. Finished it almost flawlessly on the first try :V

Its not hard, the melody goes same speed all time and you just have to click the 7th beat - the visuals and music could be distracting from hearing that 7th beat but its pretty easy and really, REALLY FUN!

Every 7th beat. if you have trouble just close ur eyes and count out the beats to seven (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7!). That's how I did it.
