A rhythm heaven character would be awesome, but not someone as obscure as Paula (from Donkey Kong). Someone who is only known for being a stupid inconvenient plot device and is forgettable in the wide roster of Rhythm Heaven characters. There are more, and better choices than Tibby if we needed a Rhythm Heaven Rep.

My theory is that it's too complex to play with buttons or with simple tap (just hold it on the touch screen?) and the kids (target demographic) would have a harder time with it. But no toss boys?

They probably didn't add it due to how it plays. It was made for touch screen and unlike the included DS Rhythm games here remapping the controls for buttons wouldn't have worked comfortably. Another example that comes to mind is Love Lizards.

Sad that it was e-shop only, and now that's gone and there still isn't any actual switch port or new game in the series on switch. I've still got it saved on my 3DS but its a shame it's just gone now for anyone that doesn't. Hoping 2024 has something in store for this series... even just a port of the older games to the switch would be fine with me. Bundle them together in a rerelease/package, something!
