Rhythm Play Along in TRIPLE Meter - Cockles and Mussels (Molly Malone)

Thanks for stopping by! This is a short lesson for triple rhythms in 3/4 time. I got my musette accordion out for this beautiful and traditional Irish tune. The flow of the measures is generally predictable to help students feel the beat and learn each rhythm before moving on to a new one.
Extension ideas:
*If you’re using unpitched percussion instruments like sticks, bucket drums, or cups, assign each measure (or rhythm) a different way to play.
*If you have no instruments, think about using body percussion motions assigned to each measure (or rhythm).
*Change the rhythms entirely and display your own 4-beat rhythm cards that can be played with this music.
