i have no idea how polyrhythms work or really any music theory or rhythm technicalities. i cant even read sheet music. i just play rhythm game bc fun and im good at it. but this makes me curious, i understood most of these except some of the last few. realistically where would somebody even use that type of beat... has it even been done before (and sounded good) in a song? it just sounds painful

usually polyrhythms in actual music would be a 2:3 or 3:4 polyrhythm and be harder to notice. the polyrhythms in this video use quintuplets just to be funny which indeed would almost never be used, especially in a polyrhythm, and the 17-tuplets are just as a massive meme

None of the timings are wrong. Idk why so many people comment this when its so clearly wrong. The timings are not exactly the same as the original Rhythm Hell video if that's what you mean, some are shifted forwards to fit better with the minigame and the sheet music is also changed to reflect this. All of the video is perfectly consistent with the displayed sheet music.
