a little bit of time loss with that ensemble cover at the beginning. i'm working on some new tech where you can clip through and save about half a second each time. would also recommend changing your splits to account for load time between movements. the closer usually isn't stored in the game's memory until a few frames before bar 69. nice playing zones, that's a pretty RNG-heavy factor that's killed a few of my runs. be careful around that Chris, he's one of the most busted NPCs i've come across. i think you managed to stay out of his bad cycle tho. i look forward to seeing your new strats incorporated next season

Marimbas/vibraphones mostly, and then behind us there are marching snares, tenors, basses, and cymbals

what malets are use

ProMark mallets: Basically all of the Andrew Markworth and Spyre series Marimbas used Spyre 1s, 3s, 4s, and 5s, Andrew Markworth 2s, 3s, and 4s, and the Jim Wunderlich JW4s I believe, also a pair of AM7Rs when we played the vibraphones. Vibes mostly used AM6s and AM7s, some spyre stuff too but I’m not sure what.

AM3s were our bread and butter - they’re super heavy but once you get used to them they have a super articulate but super full sound, it’s great for indoor because you get enough articulation to cut and get a xylophone sound without a xylophone in indoor

New portal WRs will happen starting around this December most likely, but I also may take a stab at them during the week of May 13. Either way, I do all of this speedrunning stuff and DCI/WGI stuff for fun, so you can unsub if you want, you will just miss the WRs when they come back eventually
