The 7 Heavenly Updates in Bee Swarm

I will be honest. I saw the loss of hope of many in the bee swarm community before the sticker update and the retro challenge. The idea that it may be the end of the game is one that is unfortunate, but even so, my loyalty always still remained with Onett. I have seen it happen in other smaller games myself. The community which is a strong point for most of these games, may also cause the downfall of the game if they become toxic towards the owner when they slip up. No game or pressure of huge amounts should be worth someone’s mental health. If Onett felt that it was time for his game to die off, it would be sad, but I would support his decision. I have seen a fan game of a tornado based game of roblox go down myself, but in the final minutes, the owner left with a powerful message. He said how the game had him at his highest moments as well as his lowest whenever he was falsely criticized of copying the main tornado game with his fan game. He also mentioned how all of this taught him a valuable lesson that he still uses to this day, one that I try to go by too. “Everything in life, good or bad, comes to an end.” That quote was one of the biggest impacts to me in those final minutes and he went on to mention how we can’t live in a constant state believing everything will remain how it is. If you overlooked something, you may miss something you’ll not get to see again. And the memories you make with those moments can last for a lifetime and even beyond. His point was that it was the end of his beloved fan game, but with the love and memories in the community, the game’s legacy would last forever. It was the end of an era and the beginning of another. This message is one reason why I would remain loyal and respecting of Onett’s decisions even if it would mean the end of Bee Swarm. With the love it has brought to millions, the games legacy would live on forever. For me, all that matters is that he takes care of himself and actually enjoyed working on the game. (If you wonder what game this was, it was a game called Tornado Insanity, a fan game of Tornado Alley Ultimate.)

Man people take Onett for granted! He didnt deserve all the hate he got for messing up the honey day and beesmas man. He is a solo dev and clearly trying. It was said to only have 2-3 updates this year yet he has proven everyone wrong with 5-6! I wish Onett all the best and without him, Bee swarm would be a massive cash grab like Pet Simulator 99.

so real, mainly i remember the 35 bee zone as just coming out yesterday, grinding spirit bears quests, getting mad at the wind shrine, 3 minutes to defeat coco crab being my pb, oh how time flies

We can't really blame Onett for the slow and RNG-based updates. Bee swarm is basically completed, there's really much nothing else that would make Bee swarm better. Like: If he adds things that focus more on end-game players like stronger bees, or new areas, newer players won't have the chance to enjoy them. End-game players can get them in the matters of second. If he focuses on new players instead, then end-game won't have a reason to come back. Bee swarm is a simple game, after all. Onett has done what he can.

@@JTpoopman no I don’t think so The endgame tools came after the beequips because the Heat-Treated and Hydroponic Planters were released after the initial update so endgame tools had to come later too :p But i still need to finish the video

One of the reasons i think onett is a very good developer is that i can see many things that go wrong with certain aspects of the game, such as it not being beginner friendly, or it can be way harder to unlock a certain thing without having knowledge of of it beforehand. i cannot imagine any other developers that would think about the downsides and difficulties so carefully before releasing new update.

I have concept What if 40 bee zone was some kind of cave inside mountain With few Field Quest bear called "Miner bear" And maybe new wild bee "Cave bee" I think that concept of a cave sound really cool Adding some glowing plants, some lava and maybe new mining mechanic? Sounds interesting to me!

Onett may be slimming on updates to the game, but he sure makes them memorable and enjoyable when it counts. (Not considering the idea of the beesmas quests with stickers.)

I quit beeswarm not long ago, like maybe 4 days ago or something. And it's mostly that beesmas really isn't new content, sure stickers and stuff but it is all the same if you look at it a bit differently. I won't be returning unless there will be some actually new stuff, things you can get without hoping you get good rng or friendly enough players to trade with. A new zone will most likely never happen, unless onett gets a great idea to insert into the main game. I know the retro swarm challenge exists, but it really isn't worth playing outside of quests.

I guess stick bug update(also known as crafting update) and gifted bees update are "sinful". Like, really. Crafting materials is one of the most important mechanics even now. Gifted bees and bee levels are very important mechanics even now too. I dont think that bss would remain the same if not those update. Bss could've died alredy if not the crafting update, while gifted bees update brought amulets. Of course i know, heavenly doesnt mean big or very important, but the crafting update definitelly deserved being "heavenly"

alot of ppl are saying onett works very hard but like lets be fr he couldnt make a 40 bee zone despite it taking like 2 hours to make one and also yeah true he did work ALOT for the stickers update, but we didnt really ask for it i guess and theres so many stuff the playerbase keeps asking for but he still doesnt even if its the simplest thing. And if he is going to quit making updates i think he should hand the game over to another player who is dedicated to updating the game consistently. it would change bss also ive been playing since 2018 so ik alot about bss

Update ideas: ONNET SHOULD MAKE A 50 BEE ZONE 🙏 It could be above the 30 bee zone, with a staircase obby or smth that leads up to it. The door to it would be BIG, with ssa stickers or smth around it. It could have a memory match with OP prizes, A NEW SHOP (which i will explain later :3) and one MASSIVE field, seperated into 3 sections for each hive color (END FIELD) -NEW GEARR (FOUR BACKPACKS, THREE FOR THE HIVE COLORS AND ONE THAT IS COMPATIBLE WITH ALL HIVE COLORS :>) FOR EXAMPLEEE for blue hives there could be a bubble backpack (looks like a bubble, stores 99M honey default without any amulets or boosts, and has a passive equipped with it, that could maybe spawn a huge bubble covering 98% of the field, touching the edge collects ALL pollen in the field and replenishes it. Flowers below the third tier move up one tier. Ofc this backpack is gonna be a GRIND tho ;) -another mythic bee 🤩
