Ó Riada Retrospective 1987 - The Donal Lunny Band

This 29 odd minute live premiére performance of 'Dónal Lunny's band' in April 1987 formed part of the 'Ó Riada Retrospective' (Noel Pearson Productions) held on the 24th., 25th., & 26th., April, 1987 that was filmed in the National Concert Hall and featured, among many others, on the 25th., April the following musicians dealing with this 29 min extract: Dónal Lunny, Manus Lunny, Nollaig Ni Chathasaigh, Arty McGlynn (RIP), Damian Quinn, Steve White, Seán (óg) Potts and myself. Live LPs, CDs and cassettes followed under the Gael-Linn Record label. The music consisted of newly-composed melodies from Dónal Lunny as well as traditional tunes.
