RIAT 2022 Arrivals Day | Wednesday

Very happy to finally be attending the arrivals days at this year's RIAT, meaning that I get to see and film every aircraft participating in the show, even the ones on static display.
Today's arrivals featured all different types of aircraft ranging from military helicopter and fast jets, to civilian training aircraft and national display teams!
One of the highlights for me was see a couple of Tornadoes back in the sky for the first time since the RAF ones were withdrawn from service in 2019. Great to have a few flypasts added in for 'runway calibration'. The first one was at 500 ft, followed by 300 ft and then last one (touching the tops of the trees!) was at 100 ft!

Wow~ As a Korean American, I'm proud of those who have been working for KF-21 Boramae's successful Maiden Flight possible. They should be proud of themselves. In realization, they were working hard while I wasn't doing anything. God bless America and South Korea~! Great job~~

Sorry, but these Tornados are from the Takt.Luftwaffengeschwader 51 "Immelmann" , but never mind it still great planes.😃 (Tornados waren vom Immelmanngeschwader 51 Die Büchelaner haben eine 33 in ihrem Wappen , die Immelmänner den stilisierten Tigerkopf.)

Had no idea Germany was still flying Tornados. Must be cheap to maintain with all the surplus parts.

the germans will be using them til 2030 because of a lack of an replacement till then. The Bundeswehr has a pretty dire spare part situtation the few airworthy Tornados are only kept flying by parts canabalised from other airframes.

They're still more than capable and are a cheap solution to deliver the nuclear bombs located on air force bases in germany while flying near to the ground hard to detect by enemy radar
