Thankyou for some really wonderful filming here. I particularly loved the landing U2 sequence. I have boundless admiration for the pilots of these awesome aircraft, they are very tricky to handle. Returning from a ten hour mission at high altitude, drained and dehydrated and having to get the beast down on the runway must be really challenging. There must be a dose of glider pilot dna in there! Love the F4s as well.

Much more than a dose. I think 90%. These two landings and taxis used more rudder peddle than every other pilot that day.

Man I love the way the Grippen and a typhoon fly, they have that unique turn thst almost like their rotating around a tornado tail sliding, so cool. And man the B1B , LOVE IT hope u catch it taking off. 😳

The U-2 is now 65 years old but is obsolete due to the latest in 21st century technology and the things we have can easily track them anywhere it will be awhile before they all end up in either the scrapyard or in museusms in the USA.

Every ounce matters when the U2 flys at over 80,000' thats why the outriggers fall off during take off.

Really must go to arrivals day at some point, let’s face it it’s the only day where you get to see anything remotely interesting flying, RIAT is a bit of a joke nowadays, anything interesting is static only and the flying display is a few f16, the red arrows and maybe if you are lucky a token Mig.
